About Nat

Nat is a freelance creative ballet / dance teacher based in South Bristol. Nat trained full-time at Elmhurst School for Dance & Performing Arts from the age of 16 where she qualified as an Associate of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance. Nat went on to study modern languages at University but continued to be involved in teaching, performing and choreography through the Universit

y and after that in London for various local ballet schools and musical theatre groups and had the opportunity to perform as a dancer in the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics. She graduated from The Royal Opera House and The Royal Ballet School’s 'Ballet in Education' course in 2014 and since then has taught creative ballet in various primary schools in London as well as assisting on the Royal Opera House's 'Chance to Dance' programme. She has taught for The Royal Ballet School’s Primary Steps programme in Swindon since 2014 both as a workshop leader and an after school class teacher. She is also a teacher for the charity, Flamingo Chicks, who provide inclusive dance for disabled children and their families.

I'm so grateful that I get to earn a living doing what I love.

And seeing as we're all back to the "9-5," what better way to start the term than in honour of dear Dolly...

Can't wait to teach this routine to my wonderful adult class tomorrow night...I've loved making it up...
