Dave’s funeral is on Friday 8th May 12:15 @ Parkend church then back to the cricket club after.

Bream RFC is very saddened and shocked by the sudden passing of former player and club character Dave Vaughan, who passed on the 2nd of April. Dave will be remembered for his no nonsense old style rugby, and by many of the older members for his incredible capacity for consumption of beer.
Everyone at Bream RFC would like to offer their heartfelt condolences and love to Michelle, Sarah, Natalie and Katie, grand children, extended family and friends.
Our thoughts are with you all at this terrible time ❤️

💯 100 First Team Caps for Elliott Teague 💯

A huge milestone - Congratulations to Elliott Teague on reaching 100 first team appearances.

For the past five seasons, Elliott has been one of the first names on the team sheet and has earned massive respect across the local rugby community. Starting out in the centre before making the move to the back row last season, it quickly became obvious that his explosive ball carrying, turn of pace and relentless energy were made for the pack.

He loves getting on the score sheet, loves seeing his name on his boots, and absolutely loves a Balti Hut.

This season hasn’t been easy for anyone, but Biggy has been there every week, putting in solid performances when our backs have been against the wall and leading from the front.

The 100 Club is special at any club, but even more so for a small village side like Bream. He marked the milestone with another classy performance last night against Drybrook, though it came at the cost of a nasty ankle injury that looks set to sideline him for a few weeks. We’re sure a keema naan from the Balti Hut will help speed up the recovery.
