May has some exciting routes to look forward to. We run socially as a group, walk when we want to and photos are encouraged! The routes are about the joy of getting out.

4th - BEDGEBURY
‼️ EDIT: This one is now on bikes, not running ‼️
Due to injury and numbers, we will be cycling this week instead of a run.
📍 A21 entrance

11th - BODIAM
3 miles of mixed terrain. Track and trail. Mostly flat with views of the castle and running riverside.
📍 Meet after the bridge, by the castle

18th - HAWKHURST
We will be exploring the trails that make up the Hawkhurst 5k route to see what can be expected on the day!
📍 Meet by the church

25th - ETCHINGHAM
3.5 mile route across the open fields, River Rother and following the local railway line.
📍 Meet by the church

Monday evenings

Those new to trails or wanting to take that first step off the tarmac encouraged. You won’t look back!

Super run last night with the group around Etchingham.

We ran, walked, and chatted our way round with a small diversion as the route was blocked by the mama cows and their babies, but they were so cute we didn’t mind!

Next week - Etchingham Trail Run

Join us for an evening run looping from Etchingham, along the river, and across the fields.

Beginner friendly group with the option to use run/walk intervals or run on ahead with loop backs/waiting for the group if you prefer.

Very chatty and we’re all about getting out and about to explore the local trails.

Gorgeous but challenging route this evening weaving along the paths through the bluebells and past where the waterfall would be. It’s not flowing at the moment but that does mean the trails are nice and dry now! Can’t have it both ways 🥰

Next week we’ll be in Etchingham.

Hurst Green - Beginners Friendly Trail Run

This week we are in the village itself and chasing bluebells. This route is one of my absolute favourite places to explore.

The terrain will dictate the pace but it’s always social and chatty. We will be running in intervals of no more than 1.5 min before a break and there will be plenty of hiking on this one.
