We are based in the centre of the Peak District in the great outdoors and provide outdoor activities from rock climbing & abseiling, navigation courses, mountain & hill walking guides, scrambling, and much more. Peak Outdoor was established and is run by Simon Stokes who is a qualified Mountain Leader, Rock Climbing Instructor, Navigation Tutor (NNAS) and local guide as well as an avid rock, ice c
limber and mountaineer. From an early age Simon has had a passion for all things outdoors and after building an established business in another sector he decided to combine two of his skills and passions which are running a professional business and outdoor activities into one and create Peak Outdoor. Two of our main passions in life are enjoying the outdoors ourselves and introducing and assisting other people enjoy them too. Simon has hiked and climbed in all the mountainous areas of the UK in both summer and winter, he has also climbed in The Alps, The Himalayas and The Jungles and mountains of Borneo and has a passion for helping people enjoy their experience of the great outdoors.
