This was super close with points as 8 pairs competed.

🥉 3rd and going to the zones was Liv and Jess! They also came 2nd in tack and turn out.

😀JUST WOW😀 4 teams going to National Champs!😲
ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE results yesterday from the Area 6 national champs qualifying Horse and Pony care competition.
Every single member who competed has done themselves and our branch proud.

First up were our MINIS
Snowdrops and Tulips came 2nd and 3rd respectively and BOTH QUALIFIED for Champs🥳 🏆⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Next came the JUNIOR competition. Our 3 teams; the Primroses, Daffodils and Bluebells they WERE AWESOME, the Primroses and Bluebells also BOTH QUALIFIED🏆🥳 for Champs coming 1st and 2nd respectively and the Daffodils were not far behind on points coming in a very respectable 12th out of 21 teams ⭐️☺️

Then came the seniors BARLOW TULIPS who are all technically still juniors, decided to have a go at this level in preparation for next year when they all move up. They finished 12th with some fantastic scores on many of the rounds with just a few knowledge gaps taking them out of qualification, watch this space next year!!

All of these girls have worked thier socks (Mums and support crew too!)
And I'm so proud of them all ❤️

Special shout out to super woman DC Liz who has schlepped up and down the stairs at Derby college collecting scores all day long 🥵 she arrived first, left last, brought chocolate for everyone and definitely got her steps in today. Thank you ⭐️

🏇🏻 Enfield Chase Friendly 🏇🏻

What a Junior Team we have 😍

Saturday they rode as a 5 with a fabulous guest rider, Amelia and her cracking little pony Levi, from Poole and Dorset PC. The girls hadn’t met before they went into the ring and this was both Amelia and Dinkys first games competition in a big arena!

All 5 girls were exceptional!

Sunday morning Dinky and Flash left the showground early for the Shetland Grand National Trials.

We went into the A final on a team of 4 with the BEST teams in the country….. girls were incredible and we left with a 3rd place 🥉

Barlow Hunt - Half Day Easter Rally 29th March opens on 29th March 2026. This East Midlands based horse event will take place at Darley Dale, Darley Dale, DE4 2GL.

Huge well done Team Barlow Teams 💙 competing at the Atherstone Mounted Games Friendly on Sunday. Great that the season has started back up and on such a high!

New teams for both Juniors and Seniors! Both coming 2nd in their heats with the Seniors 4th in the B Final and the Juniors winning the B Final on MAXIMUM POINTS!

We are all super excited to be back out 💙 let’s go

As we know Chatsworth Horse Trails has been cancelled for safety reasons . But i would like to acknowledge this year's 80cm team and all the training they have undertaken . I have no doubt they would have done Barlow Pony Club proud and even brought a frilly home🏅

This is our first season competing and we have already achieved so much already 🏆
