🚨LEADERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT🚨

We’re proud to announce our leadership team for the season!

💙 Captain -
💛 Vice Captain - Niamh Aspin
🩷 Vice Captain - Tilly Aspin

Three players who have proven themselves over the last few seasons time and time again! A changing of the guard at Captain sees scrum half Holly taking the reins, an experienced player, having captained County and played for North East XV. A return for VC Niamh, bringing her sister Tilly along for the ride in to the leadership team representing the pack!

After a fantastic tenure as Captain (both with and without BD) since the team’s inception, we will miss Rosanna’s voice on the pitch. Rosanna has brought experience and knowledge over the last few years and has helped the squad get to a fantastic position.

Congratulations, ladies — we can’t wait to see you lead from the front! 🔥

Player sponsorship is just £100 plus VAT for the season!! In return sponsors will receive:

- Social media advertising when your players image is used (for game day posts, player of the match announcement, team sheets etc)

EARLSTON 10s 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The ladies took the short trip over the border to on Saturday to take part in the second Earlston Ladies 10s tournament, hoping to make their own mark after joining with Berwick last year.

With dwindling numbers during the week, 12 Alnwick ladies pulled on a shirt in the end, and with a little bit of help from Gala RFC Women’s Rugby for our 3rd & 4th Place playoff.

It wasn’t meant to be as we took on The Wannabes, and Alnwick came away with a not so shameful 4th place!

Huge thank you to Earlston for hosting, as per a great weekend and we hope one day we can return the favour!

NC3 (NORTH NORTH) 🗓️

After an outstanding runners-up finish in 2025/26, our Ladies are back and ready for a new challenge this season!

The 2026/27 fixtures are now here, and the squad is determined to build on last season’s success with one goal in mind—to take that final step to the top.

Our Senior Women’s 1st XV will compete against these fantastic clubs in NC3 North North this season.

📍 **Meet at the beach car park**

No excuses—bring your trainers (or flip flops), bring your water, and bring plenty of energy. Whether you’re a regular or thinking of coming along for the first time, everyone’s welcome!

Don’t worry if you haven’t got yourself a gum shield just yet, you can still join in!
