After a fantastic weekend at the Inkberrow Tournament we now look ahead to next weekend.
Our boys will have a busy time this weekend. First up is the Kingshurt Tournament. We have attended this tournament twice before, usually a very well run tournament and we have done well in the past, 1st time reaching the semi-finals and the 2nd time we made the final but came away runners up. Im sure the boys will be ready to try and go that one step further on Saturday.
We then have our fundraising event for the Barcelona tour on Saturday night at The Alcester Inn. A race night and raffle. Everyone welcome and there are still raffle tickets available 😃.
Then on Sunday we have another tournament, this time at Evesham. This tournament stopped for a season or two but they are giving it another go this season and hopefully it will have improved on past years. Again the boys are looking forward to attending and hopefully will go onto the later stages of the tournament.

So today we attended the Inkberrow Tournament, a tournament where we have been tournament winners in the past and semi finalists last year. We were in a group that could quite easily have seen any of the teams progress to the semi finals. Our boys played some fantastic football and after the 5 group games we came away winning 3, drawing 1 and losing 1 which was 3nough to see us progress to the semi finals.
In the semi finals we played the team that knocked us out last year, but his time we drew 0-0 and thankfully scored all 5 penalties which was enough to see us through to the final.
In the final we played against Oldbury Tigers, a team which 2 weeks ago we lost to at the Crowle Tournament in the semi finals, this time our boys, got an early goal and that was enough to give the boys the win and for us to be crowned the Inkberrow tournaments champions for the 2nd time in 3 years. 🏆

Hi everyone,
As you all know we are working hard on fundraising to help get our u13 Juniors to the tournament in Barcelona in October.
We have various events going on, like the Race night and raffle next week at the Alcester Inn.
We have also been asked by a few people to start a Go fund me page so they can donate through there.
We would also like to thank everyone who has either bought raffle tickets, donated prizes and also hosted our events. It is all very much appreciated.
If anyone would like to donate through the go fund me page the link is

This weekend will see the boys battling it out at the Inkberrow Tournament after a 2 week break without any football.
Another tournament that is well run and and always a pleasure to have the opportunity to be involved in.
Hopefully the boys can get that little bit of luck you need in tournament football and progress into the knockout stages, as we did a few weeks ago at Crowle.

3 years ago today, we treated the boys to a stadium tournament at West Bromwich Albions, Hawthorns Stadium.
It was a fantastic experience where the boys drew 3 games and lost 2, finishing 7th overall.
Since this day we have attended 3 other stadium tournaments and improved massively in each one. The latest one ended with us becoming runners up.

Today started with a friendly in Sutton Coldfield for our u13 Juniors. A great run out, unfortunately with no recognised goalkeeper for the match and a few silly mistakes we let a 4-1 lead slip, but continued our great run against higher level opponents.
Some new players also being played, to get them used to playing with new team mates and definitely improving our strength and depth in the squad ready for next season.
We then all met up at the jubilee to give out the medals the boys won for coming runners up in the Central Warwickshire Youth Football League this season.
From there a few of the lads played in our 1st tournament of the season, where we finished 2nd in the Premier league group stage and into the semi finals we progressed. Our boys didn't get the rub of the green in the semi-finals and lost 1-0. A great start to the tournament season, and the future of this team is looking bright.

The boys are ready for the 1st tournament now the 11v11 season is over. Always an enjoyable tournament, with this year looking like there are some very strong teams in the Premier tournament that we have been put in.

Our boys had their last match of the season this morning, a friendly v Sutton Coldfield Orange who were 2 leagues above us this season.
After a great start and going 3 goals ahead within the first 20 minutes our boys took their foot of the gas and conceded a soft goal. Going into half time 3-1 up
Into the second half the boys started well again and scored the 4th. That should have been game over but again we switched off, making silly mistakes that cost us dearly and Sutton managed to get the game to 4-4.
Final Score 4-4
