Todays player being introduced is Bobby Collins, who is now into his second full season with us playing for our Sunday Juniors.
Bobby plays as a full back for us. He is very quick, loves a tackle and always listens to the advice we give, he also delivers a great ball into the area.
Nice being with us Bobby has made 41 appearances, scoring 4 goals and making 6 assists.
Another great player who we are delighted to have with us again for this coming season

The next player we are introducing to you is Danilo Celestino. This will be Danilo's 3rd season with us on Sundays. He mainly plays as a left back for us but occasionally he may move to a forward position to help us out when we need him.
Danilo has played 46 times and contributed with 7 Assists, 4 Goals and has also won 2 team trophies with us.
Danilo loves to tackle and wins most battles he encounters on the pitch, he is quick and always gives 100%.
We are delighted Danilo is carrying on with us on a Sunday and looking forward to seeing him on the pitch in the Red and Black of Alcester Town again.

Our u14 juniors welcomed Arden Forest Green to Stratford Road for our 1st Central Warwickshire Football League Match of the season yesterday. A match we knew would be difficult against an established Div 4 team.
In the 1st half our boys dominated, having most of the possession and creating 3 great chances to go infront but we couldn't convert the chances, before a mistake at the back cost us, giving away a penalty late on in the half which saw Arden Forest come in at half time 1-0 up.
Into the second half, Arden forest came out and scored a quick 2nd goal and which gave us to much to do to get a result. Our boys carried on trying to get back into the game and a freak own goal by Arden gave us a glimmer of hope as we pushed forward trying to get an equaliser but unfortunately we came up short and Arden held on for the 3 points.

Today we welcomed P&E Sports to Stratford Road for our 1st match of the season in the Evesham Ambassador Football League.
P&E started the 1st half fast and had a few chances in the 1st 10 minutes before going 1-0 up. Our boys struggled to get started with 5 new boys making their debut for us. Slowly we started playing better football but still only had 1 shot on target in the 1st half and ended up coming in at HALF-TIME 2-0 down.
After changing the system a little the boys started to create problems for P&E's defence and we got handed a chance to pull one back as the ref gave us a penalty. Unfortunately the keeper chose the right and saved it and the rebound was cleared by the P&E defenders.
P&E then had a few chances to increase the lead but failed to hit the target.
Again we again pushed forward, playing some quick passes and again the ref blew up and awarded us a 2nd penalty, the keeper again guessing the correct way and saved it, thankfully he parried it straight into the penalty takers feet and we converted it to make it 2-1.
With a few minutes remaining the P&E keeper makes another great saves and unfortunately we couldn't capitalise and the 2nd effort goes wide.

Next player to be introduced is Corey Coles. Corey has signed on for our Sunday Juniors for the 4th year.
Corey plays as a striker for us, and has a fantastic scoring record for us. He has now played 79 times for us scoring 93 goals, making 73 assisist, has 2 team trophies and 2 individual honours since playing for us.
Corey's main attributes are finding the spaces to run into, his finishing of chances and having a great left foot.
With Corey in the team we know we will score most times he puts on the red and black of Alcester. We are delighted to have him leading the line again this season

This weekend is the start of the league season for both our u14 Juniors on Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday we welcome P&E Sports to Stratford Road in our Evesham Ambassador Football League match. A big 1st match v the team that finished in the top 3 last season in Pool A.
Then Sunday we welcome Arden Forest Green to Stratford Road as we begin our Central Warwickshire Football League season. We finished 2nd last season in Div6 but we decided to test ourselves and ask to be moved to Div4 this season when we found out a team had dropped out of that league.
A great weekend of football to look forward to and some very big tests for our boys to try and overcome.

Todays player we are introducing is Casey Forde-Lowden. Another player that has been with us since our Alcester Juniors journey began and has signed up to play Saturdays and Sundays again this season.
Casey plays as a forward for us and sometimes on the wing. In his time with us he has made 231 appearances, scored 189 goals, made 108 assists, won 9 team trophies and 6 individual awards.
Casey is probably the quietest on our team but he his calmness under pressure is fantastic.
We are delighted to have him playing both days for us again.

Next player to be introduced is William Barker. Again William is another player who started at the beginning of our Alcester Juniors journey.
William has made 171 appearances in his time with us, contributing with 8 goals, 6 assists and helping keep 52 clean sheets.
William plays as a Centre Back and over the last 2 seasons has become a very important player for us on both Saturdays and Sundays. He is physically strong, good in the air, great on the ball and very vocal.
William has also won 6 team trophies throughout his time with us aswel as 3 individual honours.
Having William signed up again for Saturdays and Sundays is great for the team. Bringing his winning mentality and desire to be better every time he walks on to the pitch will help us in our efforts to be a team that is challenging in all competitions this season.
