☀️ A hot one for our U11s as they took on Overbury CC on Sunday morning☀️
Despite a good performance, Harvington were beaten 231–276, but there were plenty of positives to take from the game.
There were some great runs put on the board, with excellent calling between the wickets and players watching the ball well to put pressure on the fielders. With the ball, Sam, Fin and Joseph each picked up a wicket, supported by some great fielding from Harry, Leo, Isaac and Emily.
A huge positive was in our bowling we conceded just 38 extras compared to Overbury’s 56. That accuracy made a difference and is a great sign of the team’s progress.
Well done to everyone for their effort, teamwork and resilience in the heat. Plenty to build on as we look ahead to the next match! 💚🏏
