🌱 Wrapping Up Our Root to Rise: The Practice Series 🌱
As we close out this series, I've been reflecting on what made it so special. More than anything, it was the community that continued to grow around our mats.
This series brought together newcomers and familiar faces, with Mondays dedicated to exploring the foundations and Thursdays offering space to build on them through movement and flow. It was beautiful to see new people step into the space, try something unfamiliar, and be welcomed with such openness and encouragement.
Together, we breathed, moved, broke a sweat, stumbled, laughed, and got back up again. We learned, played, and grew alongside one another.
There's an African proverb that says, "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together." This series reminded me how true that can be. Yoga is a deeply personal journey, but we don't have to take it alone. Sometimes, simply knowing that others are showing up alongside us makes all the difference.
Thank you to everyone who came to the mat with curiosity, patience, and a willingness to try. Thank you for being open to learning, for giving yourselves permission to fall down and begin again, and for making space for others to do the same. Whether you joined us every week or came for a single class, you helped shape this community.
As I take a little time away with my family to enjoy the Danish outdoors, I invite you to pause and acknowledge yourself for the work you've put into your practice. Reflect on how far you've come and where you'd like your journey to go next. Celebrate the small steps, the wobbles, and the moments you chose to show up.
The invitation remains open. We are building a community—a safe space to move, breathe, learn, grow, and support one another. Whether you're returning to your mat or just beginning, there is a place for you here.
May we let go of what no longer serves us.
May we return to ourselves.
May we remember that every breath is a new beginning. 🌱
