We have just started the first race this season of VEC - where We are driving in the LMP2 class.

It's a 8 hours race around Spa Francorchamps Circuit - Todays drivers are Jarrod Van Der Weide and Henrik Hoier.

Okay - We have some of the coolest drivers ever here on the GlamRacing team!!

Jarrod Van Der Weide is the king when it comes to bowling and does state touynaments in WA, Australia, and of course he can do a perfect bowl winning 300 Points! Man you roll :-P

Thankfully is just has awesome on the race as he is on a bowling lane!

Race recap from yesterday’s race at the Bahrain circuit in the Virtual Endurance Championship.
It was the first 4-hour sprint race of the season, where it was going to be Quintin and Jarrod who was going to drive the race, we came into the race with good spirits since the lap times we had done during practice were very good.

Jarrod took the qualifying and did a season best Q session with a P6. With a few cars arounds us having penalties left us in a good position at the start of the race. Jerrod took the start of the race and made a very clean start of the race. He was p3 after the surrounding cars have had their penalties served. Overall, a very good start of the race. But the track also proved to be a little too hard on the front tires so we had to pit a little bit earlier with each stint knowing it might cost us a pitstop extra at the end.

Quintin was up next in the searing heat of the Bahrain Circuit. His stint was a little more difficult since we were off schedule compared to our competitors on track. Having to fight slower cars in the midfield, and cars trying to regain positions after their penalties in the start of the race.

After Quintin were done with his double stint. Jarrod was back in the car trying to catch up as much as he could for the last hour of the race. He did manage to catch about 20 seconds up to the competition but unfortunately, he ran out of time and had to settle for 9th position in the race. Equaling the best result so far in the season.

The next race of the season is the 6H race of Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps on the 2nd of December 2023.

RACE DAY!!

Today we driving at Bahrain in the Virtual Endurance Championship.

It's a sprint race so "just" a 4 hour race starting at 1pm CET.
Jarrod Van Der Weide and Quintin Plane will be taking the wheel today!

Race over and dusted! And what a hard and long race that was! with a lot of overtaking on a very narrow track!

We started in p19 with a car that really wasn’t suited to a green track.
Henrik started in the car and was struggling with the car, but the race went much better as the track got more rubber on the surface.

As the grip improved, so did our position on track, so much that at some point we were on 5th place in class.
The last few hours Jarrod Van Der Weide and Quintin Plane were fighting their way up and down the field and we were in a close battle for the last 1.5 hours of the race and we crossed the line on 9th place with only around 0.5 second up till 8th after a little over 9 hours of racing.

The next race in VEC will be the 4 hours of Bahrain on the 4. November 2023.
