Join us for a night of pickleball, pink, and giving back. All registration fees will be donated directly to CIBC run for the cure! 💗

👚 Wear 50% pink or more and get a FREE goodie bag while supplies last!

Put your skills to the test! Every player will get a chance to take on our mini skill challenges and win money for charity.

And yes… there WILL be country music. Pink cowboy hats are not required… but highly recommended. 🤙🏻

A Special Day at VPC

This past weekend, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming the South Island Ravens to VPC for an afternoon of pickleball, food, laughs, and learning the game with members of the Orcas.

The South Island Ravens provide opportunities for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in Greater Victoria to learn, play, and experience everything that comes with being part of a hockey team. What started with just a small group of players in 2012 has grown into an incredible community of athletes, families, coaches, and volunteers.

For a few hours, hockey sticks were traded for pickleball paddles, and it was hard to tell who was having more fun. There were plenty of rallies, lots of laughs, great food, and even better company.

A huge thank you to Save-On-Foods on McCallum Road for generously donating hot dogs, buns, and drinks for everyone, and to the Orcas members who brought hamburgers, buns, drinks, and helped make the afternoon such a great experience.

One of our favourite moments of the day was exchanging jerseys with the Ravens. Their jersey will now be proudly displayed at VPC as a reminder of a pretty special afternoon and the new friendships made along the way. 

Thank you to the South Island Ravens, their players, families, coaches, and volunteers for spending the day with us. We loved having you at VPC and hope this is only the first of many days together.

Meet Al Quan!

Al is not only a familiar face on the courts at VPC, but also a Volunteer and one of the awesome facilitators behind our 2.75–3.25 Open Plays!

Al is an incredible person who’s always willing to lend a hand whenever it’s needed. We’re lucky to have him as such an involved member of our community.

Just be careful when you step on court with him… his favourite shot is a low slice serve that might just throw you off your feet. 😅

We’re so grateful to have Al as part of the Victoria Pickleball Centre community. Thanks for everything you do, Al! ❤️

The Victoria Open may have brought out the competition, but it also brought out plenty of smiles!

It was amazing to see so many players having fun, supporting one another, and enjoying the game we all love. Tournaments are about more than wins and losses, they’re about bringing our pickleball community together.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the Victoria Open such a fun and memorable weekend. We can’t wait to do it all again!
