💦 "In its fluency of form,
Water never goes outside
Its own desire
But inhabits the offered shape
And keeps to itself
Even when gravity drives
It the blind way
Through solitudes of rock
Inside the mountain
Where nothing has ever gone,
Its tongue coarse with sand
Rasped from their perfect sleep."
~ John O'Donohue

The seasonal cycle of Lammas invites us to pause, acknowledge what is ripening and recalibrate with what is emerging.
When our inner waters are stagnant, they become heavy and dense. Inner conflict, judgement and resistance, the sludge of the inner critic accumulates. This is the sympathetic nervous system in dominance: fight, flight, faint.
When our inner waters flow, we are in the natural state of connection, presence and joy. When the head, heart and hara align, the parasympathetic nervous system is dominant.
Water is a conductor of light. When our waters are purified, our leadership becomes radiant and we can flow in partnership with life.
An invitation to recalibrate for the autumn harvest:
💧 What supports your inner waters to flow?
💧 So what feels stagnant and ready to be liberated?
💧 Now what is the most important thing emerging through you for the autumn harvest?
