Wilson Diving Services Full service dive shop and charter operation based in Victoria, BC. The reason we've been a leader is because we do it right! We don't take short cuts.

"There is a difference where you go for scuba diving training" has always been Wilson Diving's motto concerning diver education. Established in 1992, Wilson Diving has maintained a full service retail store, travel department, teaching facility and repair center. For over 18 years, our satisfied customers have been able to come to our one location to fulfill all their diving and snorkeling needs!

Our retail store features the latest in diving equipment from nationally recognized manufacturers. We are a full service suba diving facility. The repair department is an authorized service center for most major brands of diving equipment. Our innovative travel department has allowed our staff to lead diving expeditions to exotic worldwide dive destinations as well as local BC diving. The heart of our program however, has always been our teaching program, which is directed by Doug Wilson. Doug's background as a Canadian Navy Clearance Diver for 23 years, ACUC Instructor since 1980,Instructor Trainer since 1989, plus thousands of dives has received national recognition in the field of diver education. Under Doug's expert guidance, the instructional program has been unsurpassed in Western British Columbia! Our training may take a little longer and cost a bit more but then, good training always does. Our constant search for the best has led to a reliability and dependability that our customers can count on. Drop in to see us and find out why we are different from the rest. The staff at Wilson Diving is happy to answer all your questions, share their experience and help you anyway they can in a light friendly manner. This is what makes our shop different and unique. We still know how to have fun!

🤿 Youth Scuba Diving Day with Wilson Diving 🤿

Calling all young scuba divers!

Join us on July 18 for a full day of underwater adventure, skill building, and ocean stewardship.

📅 Date: July 18
🕘 Start: 9:00 AM at Wilson Diving in Colwood, BC
🕒 End: 3:00 PM at Wilson Diving in Colwood, BC

Requirements:
✅ Open Water Scuba Certification

The day will include two dives, with youth welcome to participate in the first or both dives.

🔹 Dive 1 – Skills Refresher
We'll review important scuba skills including buoyancy control, underwater navigation, and safe diving practices to help young divers build confidence and stay sharp.

🔹 Dive 2 – Ocean Cleanup & Fish Find
Put your skills into action with an underwater cleanup and fish identification activity focused on marine conservation, environmental awareness, and exploring local marine life.

Parents will need to help with transportation to the dive site.

Spots are limited, so let us know if your youth diver would like to join us!

🌊 Youth Snorkeling Day with Wilson Diving 🌊

Hello young snorkelers and parents!

We're excited to be organizing a Youth Snorkeling Day with Wilson Diving Services this summer.

📅 Date: July 11
🕘 Start: 9:00 AM at Wilson Diving in Colwood, BC
🕐 End: 1:00 PM at Wilson Diving in Colwood, BC

This is a great opportunity for youth to explore the underwater world, learn about local marine life, and build confidence in the water in a fun and supervised environment.

Requirements:
✅ Ages 10+
✅ Comfortable swimmers

Please bring:
🥪 Lunch
💧 Water bottle
☀️ Sunscreen
👕 Change of clothes
🧺 Towel

Space is limited to 6 youth participants.

Parents will need to help with transportation to the dive site.

Big thanks to this group of Rockstar divers who braved the zero visibility and the hot sun ro come out and help cleanup the commercial docks at fisherman's warf for Ocean Week Canada We had to bring out the lift bags and dig through the silt outs to find these treasures.

Greatful to have you all help us make the ocean a little bit cleaner every dive!

Help us in wishing a very happy birthday to our talented and knowledgeable divemaster Ryan Swan!! He and Chris snuck out for a birthday dive in Sooke this morning!

Ryan's passion for the ocean is one of the many things that we love about him at Wilson's!
Whether he's planning underwater clean ups, guiding divers for drop ins, or sharing his knowledge about local marine life through his project Be Sea Adventures, we appreciate having him on the team!
