With Summer Camps 2026 officially wrapped up, Westshore Parks & Recreation thanks everyone who helped make this summer such a blast!

From our incredible camp staff, supervisors, and community contractors, to our families, and most importantly, THE KIDS!!

Thank you everyone for a fantastic 10 weeks of fun, friendship, and adventure. We look forward to welcoming everyone back again in Summer 2027! ☀️🏕️🎉

The Family Fun Run and Party in the Park is almost here and we want you to be a part of it!

Whether you’re walking, running, bringing the kids, or joining with friends and family, there’s still time to register! Choose the 1 km or 3 km route and make it a fun morning for everyone.

Registration is filling quickly. Register today and join us at the start line! Registration closes Wednesday, September 9. Don’t wait.

We’re thrilled to partner with the Alzheimer Society of B.C. on the Minds in Motion program! It’s wonderful to see the impact this program has on participants and their care partners. Minds in Motion is such a wonderful program, and we’re proud to help create opportunities for connection, movement, and community.

Staying engaged – socially and physically – provides huge benefits for people living with dementia and their care partners. Minds in Motion® is a fitness and social program featuring gentle exercises followed by social activities designed for pairs to enjoy together.
New series are starting soon in Colwood, BC.

What a season for the Victoria Shamrocks! ☘️

While their playoff run came to an end last Tuesday night in a hard-fought Game 6 loss to Coquitlam, there’s still so much to celebrate. Packing out The Q Centre every weekend, the energy from the fans was unmatched all summer long!

We're already counting down the days until next season. In the meantime, hockey is right around the corner. The Victoria Grizzlies kick off their season at The Q Centre on September 25! 🐻

Due to the windy weather forecast, we’ve moved Thursday Night's movie to a new location to keep everyone comfortable and safe.
🍿 New Location: Indoor Turf at Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre
📍 1767 Island Highway, Victoria
Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and movie snacks, and join us indoors for a fun family movie night. The movie will go ahead as planned, just in a warmer, wind-free location!
