Age Is Not Your Excuse
One thing I refuse to accept is the idea that getting older automatically means you have to become overweight, out of shape, weak, and unhealthy.
The photo on the left is me at 25 years old.
The photo on the right is me at a young 40.
The only real difference? According to Hailey Walker I’ve got a few more grey hairs in my beard (although I don’t see them).
Yes, recovery changes. Life gets busier. Responsibilities increase. And your body doesn’t respond exactly the same as it did in your twenties.
But none of that means you have to give up on yourself.
Your age isn’t what determines your health. Your daily habits do.
I’ve spent the last 15 years learning more, training smarter, improving my nutrition, prioritizing recovery, and staying consistent. The result isn’t just maintaining my physique—it’s becoming a better version of myself than I was at 25.
Stop using birthdays as a reason to lower your standards.
Take care of your body.
Lift weights.
Eat quality food.
Move every day.
Sleep well.
Be patient.
Getting older is a privilege.
Letting yourself go is a choice.
Age isn’t your limitation. Excuses are….
