Chinook / Spring / King salmon from the "bare bones" (one of our rentals) Hobie Compass - after work, Sooke, Strait of Juan de Fuca, BC - Check out the rod! Due to a calf injury I'm "paddling" with the regular stock paddle (Tim MirageDrive-ing) and we set off just to jig for bottom fish. I've lent Tim my "rod" and grabbed a little pink rod/reel set up one of my daughters won years ago with 10-12lb line on it (heavier on the Buzz Bomb itself) Was NOT expecting a salmon!

**BREAKING NEWS** New Bike Rental location - Daniels Market! Just 250m from the Ludlow Rd Galloping Goose access. Starting this week we will be set up on the lot next to Daniels! Not only will you be able to access the Goose, but top up on your supplies for the day from the market and new cafe!
Bear with us as we transition to the new bike rental location. All of our regular services still available at Sooke Harbour Resort & Marina!
