Pulling one up from the deep is a thrill! (And they are delicious.) Excellent halibut fishing can be found only 20 – 30 minutes from Sooke. Along the way, wildlife abounds. Access is often on logging roads that thread through the hills and the best fishing spots are tough to find. Pat can get you into these hard to reach places – on foot, or by Jet boat or Drift boat.
