Gabriel Benay’s second fight of the day. He’d already won his first one this morning, then turned around and gave everything he had left in this one. Three rounds, forward the whole way, no round where he stopped working. He took a heavy shot and faced some adversity, stayed calm, walked back to the center and went right back to the plan. The decision went the other way, and it doesn’t take a single thing away from what he showed in there. That’s heart you can’t teach. First tournament, two fights in one day, and he never once looked for a way out.
