It is with both joy and sadness that we at Champs Martial Arts announce that Kyoshi Ray Deschamps has decided to retire and enjoy some well-earned free time. It is with sadness because we will miss Kyoshi in the dojo. It is with joy because we thank Kyoshi for over 40 years of martial arts excellence and leadership that he had brought to the martial arts community in Ottawa. As a result, Champs Martial Arts Academy has been sold and is now under new management. Staff and members of Champs will forever cherish the fond memories of our years with Kyoshi Ray Deschamps and we know that you join us in wishing him continued good fortune and health in the future.

NOTICE TO ALL Students: Saturday Dec 17, 2016 classes are cancelled due to expected weather conditions. Police are advising people to avoid driving if at all possible.

Classes for Monday to Thursday are unchanged. However, please note that the dojo will be closed for Christmas holiday from December 23rd to January 8 (normal classes resuming January 9th 2017.
