We teach Classical Pilates true to Joe's work but we are also a community building positive connections. Does it have all its strength in its limbs? No. A tree is only as strong as its roots and its trunk. Without a strong trunk the tree would fall over. It’s the same for our bodies. If we don’t concentrate on building a good foundation and a strong trunk or core (powerhouse), we’ll end up tight i

n some places and weak in others, injury-prone and susceptible to the pitfalls of our occupation or chosen form of exercise (or lack there of). The Pilates Tree has something for everyone; offering personal sessions and open studio sessions - all geared to condition your body, mind, and soul. Through Pilates you will reshape your body, making yourself stronger while increasing flexibility and correcting imbalanced movement patterns. Posture is improved, stress and tension are relieved, and mental and physical training become one.
