On April 11, 1961, the Royal Glenora Club opened its doors, bringing together three of Edmonton’s historic clubs: the Glenora Skating and Tennis Club, the Braemar Badminton Club, and the Royal Curling Club.
This past Saturday, we celebrated 65 incredible years of community, sport, and connection. Thank you to our Members who make the Club what it is today. Here’s to the next chapter.

Celebrating 65 years of tennis at the Royal Glenora Club.
Through the years, the courts have been filled with competition, connection, and countless memories. From generation to generation, tennis has brought friends and families together both on and off the court. As the facilities have grown and evolved, so too have the moments shared on them—continuing a tradition built on community, shared experiences, and a lasting love of the game.

On Sunday, March 1, the Royal Glenora Club welcomed Miguel Ángel Rodríguez , former World No. 4, for an exciting day of squash. The day began with junior squash clinics, meet and greets, and photos with our young players before moving into an exhibition match featuring Clarke Wiebe, Shaun Khambral, and Evan Watson, alongside Head Pro Ross Pretorius. It was a fantastic day of learning, competition, and inspiration for our squash community.

Thank you to Lexus of Edmonton for sponsoring Miguel and helping bring this special event to the RGC.
