The Edmonton Huskies have been part of this community since 1954. For generations, this program has survived and grown because people cared enough to support young athletes, build opportunities, and believe in what this team represents both on and off the field.
The Huskies Golf Classic is more than just a golf tournament to us. It’s one of many initiatives we’re working toward to help keep player fees manageable, keep the lights on, continue improving our program, and help move the Huskies into the future the right way.
The reality of junior football today is that community support matters more than ever. Events like this are what allow organizations like ours to continue creating opportunities for the next generation of players.
What’s been amazing through all of this is seeing how much love this generation of Huskies has around it. Alumni, families, fans, volunteers, coaches, former players, and supporters from all eras of the program continue to step up and believe in what we’re building.
Now we just need everyone to come together one more time and help us get this event over the line. Whether it’s registering a team, sponsoring a hole, donating an item, sharing the event, or simply helping spread the word — every bit genuinely matters.
