It is with a very heavy heart that the North Dundas Rockets organization announces the passing of long time coach Lenard McLean

Lenard joined our organization originally as a member of the Junior Rockets coaching staff before transitioning to the Senior Rockets team 5 years ago.

With long time friend and coaching partner Rob Sadler. He helped oversee a revitalization of the junior program that saw the organization become a contender in the NCJHL for many consecutive seasons

In 2020 he joined the expansion senior Rockets team as associate coach instantly becoming an integral part of the teams three championships in its first five seasons.

The Rockets would like to express our sincerest appreciation for the time and dedication Lenard gave to us and the community over the past decade with our organization.

We would also like to express condolences to the McLean family whose hockey history has deep roots within the North Dundas Community.

The Chesterville Arena will be a little cooler this season…..

Thank you Lenard! Rest in peace

🏒 NORTH DUNDAS ROCKETS ANNUAL YOUTH HOCKEY CAMP 2026 🚀

Registration is now OPEN for the North Dundas Rockets Annual Youth Hockey Camp, taking place September 1–4, 2026 at Sam Ault Arena!
Our camp is designed to help young players develop their skills, build confidence, and have fun on the ice with experienced instructors in a positive, high-energy environment.

📅 Dates: September 1–4, 2026
📍 Location: Sam Ault Arena
🥅 Age Groups: 8U, 11U, 13U & 16U
💲 Camp Fee: $175 per player
🥅 Goalies: $100
⚠️ Early Bird Special:
After August 21st, registration increases to $225 per player.

On behalf of the North Dundas Rockets we would like to thank our over age players who played their last regular season home game as Rockets last night! These guys have showed up, worked hard and set great examples over the years.

Nathan Lister, our captain and returning player of many years, playing over 100 games. He has always been dedicated, driven, and an overall great leader. He can always be counted to be a playmaker and keep the spirits up on the team.

Parker Lefebvre, a player who has continued to show his commitment and skills on the ice, playing over 130 games and averaging a point per game throughout the last 4 years. He has been an essential part of our team as someone you can always depend on.

Max Messervey, a player who has worked relentlessly on our team. His efforts over his two seasons with us have never went unnoticed and his drive on the ice has been incredibly important to the team. He can be counted on to consistently show up and give it his all.

The organization wants to give a huge thanks to these players, as well as their families who continuously came out to support. As our season comes to a near end we want to give recognition to some of our staple players. They will have an everlasting effect and will be greatly missed as Rockets players once the season is over! 🚀

It’s game night at Chesterville Arena! The Rockets are back on home ice this Saturday, February 7th, as they square off against the Kings with puck drop set for 7:30 PM. Expect a fast, physical matchup as both teams battle for crucial points.
Bring the noise, wear your colours, and pack the rink!

The Rockets are back in action tonight as they take on the Kings at Bernard Grandmaitre Arena. With the Rockets still battling for a playoff spot, this one promises fast pace, hard battles, and playoff-style intensity. Puck drops at 7:30 PM — you won’t want to miss it.
