It is with a very heavy heart that the North Dundas Rockets organization announces the passing of long time coach Lenard McLean

Lenard joined our organization originally as a member of the Junior Rockets coaching staff before transitioning to the Senior Rockets team 5 years ago.

With long time friend and coaching partner Rob Sadler. He helped oversee a revitalization of the junior program that saw the organization become a contender in the NCJHL for many consecutive seasons

In 2020 he joined the expansion senior Rockets team as associate coach instantly becoming an integral part of the teams three championships in its first five seasons.

The Rockets would like to express our sincerest appreciation for the time and dedication Lenard gave to us and the community over the past decade with our organization.

We would also like to express condolences to the McLean family whose hockey history has deep roots within the North Dundas Community.

The Chesterville Arena will be a little cooler this season…..

Thank you Lenard! Rest in peace

The North Dundas Rockets are proud to welcome Andrew Radjenovic back for another season!

A dangerous offensive threat every time he hits the ice, Andrew brings skill, speed, and scoring. Whether he's finishing scoring chances or setting up his teammates, he's a player who can change the game in an instant.

Through 39 NPHL career games (3 seasons), Andrew has recorded an impressive 27 Goals, 26 Assists, for 53 Points. His ability to create offense, capitalize on opportunities, and produce in key moments has made him a major contributor to the Rockets' success.

With his scoring touch, strong hockey IQ, and relentless compete level, Andrew is someone opponents always have to keep an eye on whenever he's on the ice.

We're excited to have Andrew back in Rockets colours for another season and can't wait to see what he accomplishes this year.

Registration is now OPEN for the North Dundas Rockets Annual Youth Hockey Camp, taking place September 1–4, 2026 at Sam Ault Arena!
Our camp is designed to help young players develop their skills, build confidence, and have fun on the ice with experienced instructors in a positive, high-energy environment.

📅 Dates: September 1–4, 2026
📍 Location: Sam Ault Arena
🥅 Age Groups: 8U, 11U, 13U & 16U
💲 Camp Fee: $175 per player
🥅 Goalies: $100
⚠️ Early Bird Special:
After August 21st, registration increases to $225 per player.

🚨 BYRD IS BACK 🚨

The North Dundas Rockets are proud to welcome Mike Byrd back for his 3rd season as a Rocket!

A dependable veteran and a valuable part of our lineup, Mike brings experience, leadership, and a team-first mentality every time he steps on the ice. His steady presence and ability to make those around him better continue to make him an important part of the Rockets.

Through 69 career Mike has recorded an impressive 23 Goals, 59 Assists, for 82 Points throughout his Rockets career. While those numbers stand out, it's his steady, reliable play in the defensive zone that defines his game.
Mike takes pride in shutting down opponents, making smart decisions with the puck, and doing the little things that help his team win.

His leadership, physical presence, and consistency make him a key part of the Rockets' blue line every time he steps on the ice. Mike continues to make a difference every game.

We're excited to have #20 back in Rockets colours for another season and can't wait to see what he accomplishes this year.

🚨 He's Back🚨

The North Dundas Rockets are thrilled to announce the return of Mitch Gibson for his 3rd season as a Rocket!

A true force on the ice, Mitch continues to be a game changer every time he hits the ice. His offensive instinct, playmaking ability, and passion for the game make him an extremely valuable part of our core.

Through 6 NPHL seasons, Mitch has put up and incredible 85 goals and 88 assists for 173 career regular season points. In just 2 seasons with the Rockets, he has continued his dominant play with an impressive: 36 goals and 47 assists for 83 points. Whether he's finding the back of the net, setting up teammates, or making clutch plays, he continues to make a massive impact every game.

We're excited to have him back bringing the firepower once again. Here's to another big season with #11 in the red and cream!
