Dear 20 year-old Kenny,

Thank you

Thank you for going through the heartbreak, thank you for going through the adversity, thank you for every belief you built up, every bit of insecurity you deal with, every bit of s**t you took, every outburst that you never let come to light…

Thank you for every screwup, every humiliation, every escape.

Because without you, I wouldn’t be who I am today

Without using alcohol as an escape from life, I would never have created a life I didn’t need to escape from

Without nervously starting on social media, afraid of what people might think of me… I never would’ve created a platform that reaches millions of people every month

Without being willing to travel around the city, train people outside for free, drive 45 minutes during Covid to run outdoor workouts… I never would’ve built the resilience it took to build a business that works with professionals all over the world

Without busting my ass in the gym 12 hours a day six days a week for years, I never would’ve built up the knowledge, and the passion, and the love for what I do that has allowed me to create freedom through working online

Without burying myself in personal development, books and podcast and YouTube channels for inspiration in the beginning… I never would’ve been able to meet and become peers with people that I consider my inspiration

without overcoming the fear of failing, I never would’ve built the business that allows me to bring groups of athletes to some of the top gyms in the world

Without your struggle and your lack of direction, I never would’ve created a vision and the life that allows me to speak on stage, or at gyms to help inspire people to chase their dreams too

So again… Thank you. Thank you for never giving up, thank you for building up the resilience along the way, thank you for having the courage to fight for your dream, and for permitting me to live it ❤️

Learn the full structure of how to train the right way by following along.

Proper conditioning is about so much more than just “hard work”

06/08/2026

Every athlete needs to take this principle into account 💯

this is what a year + of strength and conditioning properly will do for you 🔥

Yes… Zone two can absolutely be part of the plan… But it should not be the whole plan.

If you’re guessing on any fights, don’t assume you need to just “run more”

Figure out where in your training you are going wrong, and start focussing directly on that specific physical quality.

The better you build yourself as a hole the less potential there is for something to go wrong when you’re competing.

The path to success…

14 years ago I started at

I ended up changing degrees twice before deciding I was going to pursue coaching

Through my time in school I spent a lot of time training but so much more time escaping into the partying lifestyle..

I knew what I wanted but was too scared to go after it.

When I was 23 my 6 year relationship ended terribly and left me feeling broken like I was headed nowhere..

At 24 I knew I needed a fresh start and I moved to Calgary to work at the Athlete Factory..

After two years working insane hours for terrible money and feeling like my growth was capped, I left to start my business..

At 27 I was riddled with anxiety, and although I was off on my own “living the dream” I struggled so much with anxiety and self belief that I spent most weekends blacking out drunk just to feel some level of peace.

At 29 I finally said enough is enough, I got sober (4 years in July) and started investing in my business so I could have a shot at the life I knew I wanted.

I also got consistent with social media and started relentlessly putting myself out there as THE coach for combat sports athletes

By 31 I was spending time in Vegas at some of the best gyms in the world, training some of the top athletes in the world, and reaching millions of people world wide..

By 32 I spoke to a room of over 300 people on what it takes to build a vision for your life..

At 19 years old, I had no idea what I was gonna do with my life… I had zero confidence that anything would ever happen with coaching, and even less confidence in myself as a person.

There were so many ups and downs over the last 14 years, but the thing I learned more than anything is that the path to success is not linear. You have days that everything feels like it is going well, and days where everything feels like it’s gone to s**t.

The only thing you will always know for sure is that success comes on the other side of not quitting.

Regardless of how much it feels like things have gone to s**t, or they won’t work… When you go all in on the thing that you want, bigger and better things come on the other side of that

Keep going❤️🙏

Reframe how you think of conditioning work

06/06/2026

Conditioning and endurance aren’t the SAME thing .

They overlap, they’re both important.. but make sure you aren’t confusing them

Great advice from for young up and coming fighters
