Beacon Hill Community Pool The Beacon Hill Community Pool is a hub of social activity in the north eastern part of Beaconsfield, QC. Enthusiastic Staff!

It is a run by a volunteer board and has open, paid for, membership. [French version follows]

There's a lot to do for both the young and not so young in our heated 25 meter pool. Be it for swim lessons, free swim, the inter-pool competitions or simply to get acquainted with friends and neighbours 'on deck' at social events, you'll find many reasons to make Beacon Hill Pool the focal point of your

summer! In 1966, a group of Beacon Hill residents decided to build a community pool. After extensive negotiations with the city, the pool opened its gates on August 5, 1967 to 280 eager members. Ever since, the pool has been run by an all-volunteer Board of Directors supported by the many members who donate their time and energy to make Beacon Hill Pool a great place to spend the summer. The pool is staffed by an enthusiastic group of young people, all trained to national standards in water safety, teaching and coaching water sports. Our priority is to ensure the safety of all patrons and to promote participation in the various activities throughout the summer.

En 1966, un groupe de résidents de Beacon Hill décident de construire une piscine communautaire et après de longues négociations avec la ville, les portes de la piscine s’ouvrent aux 280 membres le 5 Août 1967. Depuis, la piscine a été administrée par un comité de bénévoles, lequel a été supporté par de nombreux membres qui ont donné de leur temps et énergie afin que Beacon Hill soit l’enfroit idéal pour passer l’été. Le personnel est constitué de jeunes dynamiques, qui ont tous reçu une formation quant aux règles de sécurité et à l’enseignement des sports aquatiques. Leur tâche numéro un est d’assurer la sécurité de chacun tout en proposant diverses activités pendant l’été.
