If this picture had words it would be tranquil!
Thank you Parc Provincial Mt. Carleton Provincial Park for the opportunity to teach for the 3rd time, under the stars, at the beach, on the shores of the Nictau Lake.
This is one of my favorite places in the world and we are blessed its so close to home.
This weekend would be great time to hike and see the fall colors.
Great outside, be active, it will make your body & mind happy!

How lucky am I?
Coming down Mt Bailey yesterday with my friend Chris we spot something fuzzy in the tree. I immediately think its a kitten carrying a dead mouse as this furry being runs up the tree with ease gripping onto his lunch. He stopped about 15-20ft above us and ate his meal while keeping a sharp eye on us and allowing us to capture some cool pictures. After he filled his belly he took a nap and we left him be. Both wondering what the hell did we just watch knowing it wasnt a kitten now.

We came to find out from the park it was the elusive and rare to see (especially in the day) MARTEN.

So a search of the web once back in town to tell us why we were so blessed to see him and whats the meaning...

Last night at the beach admiring the last night of August...
September 1 is almost like a 2nd New Year as its a reminder that the season is shifting and its back to routine.
