The Design Bioethics Lab (DBL), based within the Neuroscience, Ethics and Society (NEUROSEC) team at the University of Oxford Department of Psychiatry, is recruiting four researchers to join the interdisciplinary ARIADNE project. Funded by Wellcome and led by Dominic Oliver, ARIADNE explores how generative AI could support the clinical evaluation of psychosis risk, while examining the ethical challenges this raises, particularly for children and young people.
๐ก What you will do:
- Contribute to interdisciplinary research at the intersection of bioethics, AI, mental health, psychology, and participatory research;
- Explore ethical issues surrounding the use of generative AI in psychosis-risk assessment;
- Develop and apply innovative empirical, quantitative, and participatory research methods;
- Collaborate with researchers, clinicians, and individuals with lived experience.

- Postdoctoral Researcher (Technical): Advanced empirical and quantitative expertise, with psychometric analysis experience particularly welcome;
