I raced at Ellenbrook Speedway on Sunday.

It was a nice day for racing.

In heat one the track was very wet but I did enough to finish.

Heat 2 and 3 I was lucky enough to get front row starts,which I was grateful for cause it gave me the confidence to run with some of the faster cars in WA.

For the feature race I started P10 and finished 8th out of the 13 cars.

Thanks to the other competitors we had no restarts in all 3 of the heats or the feature race.

I had a fun day at Ellenbrook Speedway on Sunday.

Track was dusty but still so fun to race on!

I’d been looking forward to going back to Ellenbrook,it’s always a great day of racing and the track is always fun.

We had two heat races. It took me a bit to get a hang of the track again and see through the dust.

The feature race I started in 10th position.
I made a few good passes early and was gaining on the other cars but the yellows came on and we had a restart.
After the restart I threw a slider on 5th and 6th place cars,but couldn’t hang on to it and dropped back to 9th.
I was able to recover in the end and finished 7th out of the 12 cars. 🏁

Saturday night was the last race for the season at Trade Hire Augusta Margaret River speedway.

I had a great night of racing,track was pretty bumpy but still fun.

Thankyou to Ben Hands for straightening the car after the last race that we crashed. I wouldn’t have been able to race without his help.

It’s race day at Trade Hire Augusta Margaret River Speedway

We got the car ready and I’m excited to go racing today.

THE SEASON FINALE IS HERE!

For our last run of the season, we see the return of the WA Modified Sedans to the Trade Hire Augusta Margaret River Speedway!

This feature division will once again be supported by our usual Junior Sedans, Street Stocks and Production Sedans but also our WA V8 Dirt Modifieds local club members too!

Main gates open from 2pm with racing from 5pm.

Friday and Sunday I raced at Trade hire Augusta Margaret river speedway.

We only planned to race on the Friday night but dad missed his flight so I was able to race both nights.
Thanks Jarrod Manuel from Diesel Tech for helping us Friday night.

Friday night we were struggling to get a good set up for the car.

Heat 1 I started 5th and finished 5th
Heat 2 started 2nd finished 4th
Heat 3 started 5th and finished 2nd.

Sunday night

Heat 1 started 5th and finished 6th
Heat 2 I was hit from behind at the start and spun out and hit the wall,and then got collected by another car.

Sadly ending my night.

The car is off getting fixed and hopefully this is not the end of my season.

Saturday we raced at Trade Hire Augusta Margaret River Speedway.

I had the flu and wasn’t sure I would be able to race but didn’t want to miss it so decided to go.

The track was fast and fun all night long.

I got to race in a different format with time trails as well.
Racing was fast the whole time.

Finished the night with the car intact and no repairs needed.

I was very excited to get my Josh Birch Racing tshirts and hoodies.
