Tom Green Junior Sedan Gold cup did not go as l planned on the weekend at Ellenbrook speedway.

The track looked great and with over 50 junior drivers entered,it was going to be a great day.

Unfortunately in the first heat,on the first lap I got caught up in a bit of contact and ended up in the wall.
A disappointing end to one of my favourite races of the year.
It was the day for crashes unfortunately with lots of drivers also coming unstuck.

Sunday was racing at Ellenbrook Speedway.
It was perfect sunny weather and the track was fast.
Ellenbrook is one of my favourite tracks to race at and the conditions were great for a good day of racing.

There was 21 top stars racing.
We got two rounds of two heats before the feature race.

The car was fast although we had a some trouble with the tyre set up.
In the feature race l put down some good laps and finished up coming 10th place out of the large field.

It was a great day and I can’t wait for the Tom Green memorial at Ellenbrook next race meeting.

It was good get to race at Ellenbrook speedway on Sunday.

The weather mostly held off until the feature race.
It was great for the club that racing went ahead after the last two race meeting were cancelled due to the rain.
We had two heats then the feature.
Top stars were a bit unlucky as we got the wet tracks every race.

Right before the 15 lap feature race it started to rain 🌧️
I found the track was very slippery and hard to drive and I decided to withdraw half way through,due to the car not turning.

It was still good to get up there and put laps in and thanks Marcus Leighton Racingfor your good company on the day.

I got to race the 39th Far Western Championship.

Thanks to the club for having us. I’d highly recommend making the trip for the 40th for anyone that’s keen.

Heats were fun on a tight track.

For the feature race I started in 11th position
and after 3 restarts the race went 20 laps without a stoppage.
I finished the feature race on 8th place.

Hopefully the weather holds off for Sunday racing at Ellenbrook Speedway.

We made it to Shark Bay.
Had a fun time during the parade today throwing out lollies.
Racing starts tomorrow at 9.

After a few weeks off racing,we are getting ready to head up to Shark Bay for the Far Western Championships.

I raced at Ellenbrook Speedway on Sunday.

It was a nice day for racing.

In heat one the track was very wet but I did enough to finish.

Heat 2 and 3 I was lucky enough to get front row starts,which I was grateful for cause it gave me the confidence to run with some of the faster cars in WA.

For the feature race I started P10 and finished 8th out of the 13 cars.

Thanks to the other competitors we had no restarts in all 3 of the heats or the feature race.
