One chance. One meeting. 一期一会。

Some encounters happen only once, yet leave a lasting impression.

Here is a story...
I first met Catherine Meads last year at the Blooming Art Floral Exhibition, where I was honoured to work as a translator for the visiting Japanese delegation. Catherine was one of the presenters.

A few months later, I met Arna through a photography project, and we discovered a natural connection through our shared love of art and creativity. From that connection, an idea began to take shape — to create something “REAL”, bringing together human talent and the world around us: nature.

Everything Catherine created was made by hand, using sustainable materials. I wore and embodied her creations as a real human element, while Arna brought all the elements together through her artistry and photography, transforming them into something that felt truly alive.

In a world moving at such a fast pace, surrounded by technology and endless digital connections, this project became a gentle reminder of something beautifully simple:

The real beauty of this world lies in human connection — through people, through art, and through nature.

I am deeply grateful to have been part of this once-in-a-lifetime collaboration, and even more grateful for the beautiful connections that made it possible.

一期一会 — treasure each encounter, for it may never happen again.

August... Winter is settling in.⁡

In traditional wisdom, winter is a time to rest, restore, and quietly conserve our energy. I've been embracing that rhythm, allowing myself to slow down and recharge.

When I gave myself permission to truly reset, new ideas began to flow, and unexpected opportunities started to open up..... ✨

It reminded me that when we create space to rest and restore, new opportunities arise to lift you up again. 🧚‍♀️🫶🪷

Now I can feel the energy gently shifting toward spring—not only in nature, but also in my body and my heart.

When we live in harmony with the rhythms of nature, life seems to unfold with a little more ease.

冬は「閉蔵」の季節。

. Yesterday marked the final day of South West Bottega in Vasse, and our hearts are full of gratitude for everything this beautiful space has meant to us.

Over the years, it became so much more than a café and restaurant. ⁡
⁡⁡
⁡It was a place of connection, ⁡
⁡creativity, and community. ⁡
⁡⁡
⁡From photoshoots, live music, ⁡
⁡and yoga sessions to incredible food,⁡
⁡meaningful conversations, and countless gatherings, so many special memories were made within this space...

Thank you to the amazing staff and everyone behind Southwest Bottega for creating such a welcoming and magical place.🩷🩷🩷⁡

Your passion, warmth, and dedication made it truly special, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have been part of its journey.

⁡⁡Today marks the winter solstice in the Southern Hemisphere—the day when Yin energy reaches its deepest point.

In nature, shifts in energy happen regardless of our awareness. Likewise, countless cycles are constantly unfolding within our bodies.
⁡⁡
⁡What matters is how I use Yoga practice as a tool for self-observation—how I listen, what I notice, and how I choose to respond.

Today, once again, I am reminded to move in harmony with the natural rhythms that surround and sustain us.

⁡南半球の冬至。
一年で最も陰のエネルギーが極まる日。

自然界では、私たちの意志とは関係なく、常にエネルギーのシフトが起こっています。そして同じように、私たちの身体の中でも無数のサイクルが巡っています。

その変化やバランスを、日々感じ取れていますか？

「冬至だから」
「満月だから」
「誕生日だから」

そんな特別な日の影響を意識することも素敵ですが、それ以上に大切なのは、日々の観察から自然の流れに寄り添い、自分を調整していくことだと感じています。

私にとってのバロメーターは、肌の調子と睡眠の質。

細胞が生まれ変わるサイクルに、きちんと寄り添えているか。無理をしていないか。今の自分に必要な休息や循環を与えられているか。

Yogaをしているからといって、常に整っているわけではありません。

大切なのは、Yogaを通して自分をどう観察し、何に気づき、どんな行動を選択していくか。

今日もまた、自然のリズムとともに。

⁡Eating should be a joy, ⁡
⁡but for some people ⁡
⁡it becomes a source of suffering ⁡
⁡when chronic illness makes ⁡
⁡every meal difficult.
⁡
⁡Feels like we are in this journey for a long time....
⁡⁡
⁡That is why ⁡
⁡we don't usually go out, ⁡
⁡we always eat at home. ⁡⁡
⁡
⁡Home cooking is our comfort zone.
And the good thing is - I don't mind it at all!
⁡⁡
⁡But this experience brown away my mind, ⁡
⁡above and beyond. ⁡
⁡⁡
⁡One of te best restaurant in WA, at our doorstep. ⁡
⁡⁡
Despite of the dietary restriction, every single bites ⁡were so clean, delicate, and thoughtfully prepared.

The meal reminded me how beautiful Japanese cuisine can be—where quality takes precedence over quantity, and the ingredients speak for themselves rather than being overwhelmed by excessive flavours.⁡
