Strength looks different for everyone, and Kasey is a perfect example of that! 🤩

When Kasey first started training, our focus was building the strength needed to support her pole dancing goals. Fast forward to now, and she’s getting stronger every week, both in and out of the gym

We’ve been working on movements like:
• Lat Pulldowns
• Face Pulls
• Hanging Knee Raises

These exercises aren’t just gym movements—they directly support the strength, stability, grip, and body control needed for pole

One of my favourite parts of coaching Kasey is getting messages about new tricks she’s landed or skills that are starting to feel easier. There’s nothing better than seeing the work we’re putting into the gym translate into real progress in something she loves 🥹

Progress isn’t always about the number on the scale! Sometimes it’s stronger pulls, better control, more confidence, and finally nailing a move you’ve been working towards for weeks

A lot of people think that with personal training it’s only about the physical side of health

With my clients we work on more than just what they can achieve inside the gym, weight loss or muscle gain. We work together with other aspects of their life that they need help with.

Being a trainer to me is getting to a personal level with my clients and helping them not only achieve their goals, but help them reduce stress and helping them understand nutrition 🥇

Little reminder that progress isn’t always just adding more weight 👏

Savannah started with dumbbell reverse lunges and now has progressed into smith machine lunges with so much more control, stability and confidence in the movement.

Lunges are one of those exercises that look simple until you actually do them! they take balance, coordination, strength and patience.

Seeing clients become more comfortable and confident with movements they once struggled with will always be one of my favourite parts of coaching 🥹

✨ CLIENT SPOTLIGHT ✨

So proud of this girl right here! She has pushed herself so hard since working with me and she is progressing every single week. We have seen changes in not only her physique but also her mentality and her motivation

Setha came to me unsure of how to tone and tighten up alongside not knowing how to use a lot of the equipment inside of the gym space. We have worked hard together on strength and putting on muscle instead of chasing the overall fat loss route.

We have seen a lot of changes and definition popping through as well as strength increases in the gym throughout our time together thus far! I am beyond proud of this busy mumma taking the time to work on herself and work towards her goals that she has set

We worked a lot on confidence inside the gym space at first and then we made plan adjustments to better suite what she wanted to work towards and it is only just the start for her!

If you’re not seeing results, chances are it’s coming down to one of these 👇

Fat loss isn’t complicated… but it does need the right approach.

Most people either:
– Eat way too little and end up burning out
– Go into the gym with no real plan
– Or quit too early because they’re not seeing instant results

And then it just turns into the same cycle over and over again.

Once you fix those things, everything starts to click

THINGS I BELIEVED ABOUT WEIGHT LOSS

1. I NEEDED TO EAT LESS
How very wrong I was. I just needed to eat the right things and watch portion sizes. Fueling your body is important!

2. WEIGHT TRAINING WOULD MAKE ME BULKY
Weight training will not make you "bulky". Weight training will help build muscle and keep you strong. Muscle also takes time to grow so you will not be bulky after a few weeks in the gym

3. THE MORE I SWEAT THE MORE WEIGHT I WOULD DROP
Sweating does NOT equal fat loss. Sweat is just your body cooling itself down, not burning extra fat. You might see the scale drop after a sweaty session, but that’s just water weight and it comes straight back once you rehydrate.

4. MORE CARDIO WOULD TRAIN OFF A BINGE
You can NOT out train a bad diet. Cardio will not fix all of your problems in terms of weight loss. That day of cheat meals will not be fixed with an extra 30+ minutes on the stair master
