I enjoy veg, but buying fresh more often than not i stop eating it and it gets thrown out

I like my meal prepped food as it goes into the freezer and even if i get sick of that meal.for a bit i can come back to it ... no waste

Oh i jist realised there was also a cup of chicken stock i forgot to put in recipe, ill add it for mfp .. wont change the cals noticeably though

That was all.a pretty easy and quick meal prep too

The brad sticks are from a viral recipe ... pretty tasty ... definitly not like bread at all though 🤣

I will make them again

These soups equate to 4-5 serves of veg so i will try to keep these up

Should i have veg in meals throughout the day ... yes

My scale weight has gone down slpwer than i expected BUT my shorts and shirts are fitting better as expected ....cpuld i possobly be balancing the fatloss with muacle gain 🤔

I mean ... there is muscle memory, so the work i did Previously is easier to gain back than having never worked before ... but id doubt this would cover it all

I do notice a difference on the scale when i forget creatine for a few days (i am getting more and more forgetful)

I do notice a difference when i have had a few days of not training

Due to my schedule sometimes i dont fit training in as expected and as my aim is 4 times a week some times this means i have multiple days in a row without training (and yes, sometimes i actually skip a workout for various reasons)

I think there is a large difference on the scale due to water retebtion throigh training and creatine as i cam visually see the fatloss

BUT ... i need to know 🤔🤣 so i need trackable data not just 'feelings'

Like i do with clients, i encourage mpre than 1 measurement style. Right now i have monthly photos and daily scales but i will add in waist chest and leg measurements with my monthly photos

I am also looking at getting a DEXA scan but might end up with an easier inbody or something similar

Now in the moment it wasnt too bad i decided id have rhem in the future ... but after opening them i realised they werent resealable ... i dont think ive ever bought the small packs

So ... clearly they had to get eaten on the drive home ... i did enjoy them

So i had to remove my airfryer chips from my dinner .. i just ate my saucy chicken mix lol .. it was either that or miss out on the icecream 🤦‍♂️

One of the things that gets me is discounts and specials. Ive often said over the years that markdowns have decided what i eat in a week quite often .. its my.scottish blood

The habits we have to break as we decide to make changes to firmly cemented habits that have been born through decades of decisions and actions ... is not as easy as cals in cals out ...

Fatloss is simple ... it is just not easy ... but it is doable as long as we keep getting back on the horse

There is a struggle behind everyones story, ive heard if we all put our problems in a big circle and got to choose which ones to take back we would all choose the ones we already know

Social media is a higlight strip of something between the best bits and outright lies

Prior to social media people still.didnt wear their struggles on their sleeves. Like social media people choose which bits to show, the car, the shoes, the smile

Most people.dont show thar look fo fear and impending doom ... and if they do they will often hide that behind comedy

Im not going to show all.of my.struggles but will prpbably share more than i should

What i will show is the boring bits, the behind the scenes mundane day to day ... at the end you will see the shiny jazz hands goal achieved

The doing the same s**t over and over, the f**k ups and the slow (oh right now this seems really slow .. and i really want to speed s**t up for some quick dopamine reward)

Ten years for an overnight success ... im 8 years in ... so just showing the last 2 🤪🤪🤪

Funny how a small thing can impact what i do

I havent had ninja creami in the freezer for a while ... i could be wrong but in that time i started looking for other things to satiate myself

I know having icecream at home has assisted me in delaying gratification and sticking to my calories

The funny little things

When your brain loves creating chaos yet thrives on structure 🤷‍♂️

Over and over it is likely i will go into idgaf and eat outaide my plan ... not the most direct route to my goal but over and over i know i can get back on the horse

The answer to fatloss is sustainable caloric deficit

For me a caloric deficit isnt really that hard, i can eat nice food

But i also have to accept how my brain works

For me, the most important skill is to reign in and get back on the horse .. whether i get the f**kits for a meal, a day, a week or longer ... knowing getting back on the horse is what works in the long run ... a f**k up is not a complete failure

Funny how fast it goes ... but from memory how fast fitness is gained back

Im not working towards a half this time.

The 2nd run was in jan 25 and i think i switched over to a smart watch for a while before i injured myself

This time im working towards sustainable exercise, that i can still fit in while growing my business

My personal goals prioritise my business and i want to fit my exercise regime into that. My brain will start to focus on what i think is shinier and i will take from one cup to fill the other. If i try this like its a race i will switch my priorities.

Luckily i have learned im neuro diverse and i can stop trying to be something im not an accept i function on a different rule set than others

While my fitness and health is high on my priority list, having wasted my 20s and 30s to alcohol and partying i dont have much to show for 45 years on this earth ...

Improvement is important in both areas but i need to prioritise one

As with all im putting on here
I am not saying do as i do, im not saying eat what i eat (what i eat is far from perfect and it is tailored around what ill adhere to ' most times' within my cal and protein goals) im not saying exercise as little or as much as me, im not saying choose my goals and priorities

What my intent is to show over a long enough time, even with f**k ups ,set backs and meltdowns getting back on the horse and working towards a goal you will still get there or be closer than allowing having to be perfect prevent you from trying

Also that slow incremental change allows small incremental habit changes to happen

If you saw what i ate and how i exercised 10 years ago 😮😮
