Your lower back isn’t the problem
It’s just the part doing the work.
Most people feel a movement in their lower back and assume the back is the issue, Usually it’s the position.
Ribs up, pelvis tips forward with them, and the back takes the load the core was meant to take.
Think of a duck’s beak. Top opens, bottom opens. Same hinge.
Bring the ribs down, squeeze the glutes, and the beak closes. Now the core has no choice but to do its job.
More tension. More structure. The joints moving the way they’re supposed to.
Same exercise. Same weight. Completely different thing being trained.
That’s the difference between doing an exercise and training a position.
