THE Bohud Racing team would like to wish our team driver Michael Stewart all the very best for his cameo appearance with the Bill Mann-owned Qld # 16 Queensland Speedway Spares team for this Saturday night’s 410 Sprintcar action at Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway in Queensland as part of the track’s annual Men’s Mental Health Night.

Following the weekend, Michael will return to the Bohud Racing team to resume their 2026-27 season campaign with the third Sprintcar Super Series round at Western Sydney Speedway on November 7.

Last night's second Sprintcar Super Series round at Western Sydney Speedway saw Michael and the Bohud Racing team walk away with a top-five result.

After qualifying on the outside of the front row for the feature race, Michael, aboard the NS # 14 Losi / Illawarra Truck Repairs & Spares supported Triple X car, was running in second for the opening 10 laps, before he slipped down the order, due to a mixture of choosing the wrong racing line and setup choice on the track where passing was difficult, and went on to finish in fifth.

Feature: 5th (2)

Although disappointed with the way the night ended, Michael and the Bohud Racing team will have this coming weekend off, before they return to Western Sydney Speedway for the third Sprintcar Super Series round eager to once again be a front-running contender.

STEWART PODIUMS AGAIN: The pleasing start to the 2026-27 season continued for Michael and the Bohud Racing team during last night's fourth round of the NSW Sprintcar Series at Dubbo Speedway.

Doubling as the Wild West Shootout event, Michael, who had finished his two heat races in fourth and third, worked hard throughout the 25-lap event and went on to greet the chequered flag in third place, which was the team's third minor podium finish of the season.

"It was another solid run for the Bohud Racing team and I, and we had a busy run trying to get to third, which when we did we were able to chase after the two ahead of us in clear air but ran out of laps," commented Stewart.

"A big thanks must go to the Bohud Racing team, as it was a busy night and we all worked hard on the car trying different setups and we were able to bring home another consistent result."

Congratulations must go out to New Zealander and one of last season's Bohud Racing sub drivers Max Guilford on claiming his first feature race victory on Australian soil last night at Dubbo Speedway.

The next outing for the NS # 14 Losi / Illawarra Truck Repairs & Spares supported Triple X car is this Saturday night's second Sprintcar Super Series round at Western Sydney Speedway.

THE 2026-27 season continues for Michael and the Bohud Racing team with tonight's running of the Wild West Shootout at Dubbo Speedway in the central west of NSW.

After a podium finish at Western Sydney Speedway last weekend, Michael and the team are aiming to continue their front-running form in tonight's action at Dubbo Speedway.

It has been nearly two seasons since Michael competed at the Dubbo Speedway track, but he has always performed strongly there, which includes a feature race victory and also a NSW Title minor podium finish.

Following all of tonight's action, the Bohud Racing team will provide everyone a full night wrap up.

STEWART CELEBRATES SYDNEY RETURN WITH PODIUM: After a hiatus of over 18 months from Western Sydney Speedway, Bohud Racing's Michael Stewart celebrated his return to the track with a third-place finish on the podium in last night's opening Sprintcar Super Series round.

In what was his second podium finish of the new season, Michael had started from position six in the feature race, before moving forward during the 30-lap event with a good setup of the NS # 14 Losi / Illawarra Truck Repairs & Spares supported Triple X car and went on to clinch the final spot on the podium.

Heading into the Dash earlier in the night as the highest point scorer by virtue of running third in his opening heat race and then winning his second heat race, Michael drew position six for the Dash and that was where he finished in that event, which put him out of position six for the feature race.

The Bohud Racing team were pleased with last night's performance and they are now aiming to build more momentum this Saturday night at Dubbo Speedway in the central west of NSW for their next outing.

STEWART EXCITED FOR SYDNEY RETURN: After having not competed at Western Sydney Speedway in over 18 months, Michael Stewart can't wait to get amongst tonight's action in the opening Sprintcar Super Series round there with the Bohud Racing team.

After running a practice night at Western Sydney Speedway over a month ago, the pilot of the NS # 14 Losi / Illawarra Truck Repairs & Spares supported Triple X car is eager to be a front-running contender from the outset and return to his strong previous form at the venue that saw him capture the 2024-25 season Western Sydney Speedway 410 Sprintcar Track Championship.

In other exciting news, the new range of Bohud Racing team merchandise in the form of t-shirts, hoodies and singlets has recently arrived and they will be available from the team's transporter in the pit area from tonight. For those unable to get to the track, the team will have all of their new merchandise uploaded to their online store next week.

FOR the third season running, the Bohud Racing team will be a part of this season's NAPA Speedway in the City event that is to be held as part of the Supercars Adelaide Grand Final later next month.

After contesting last season's event with fill-in driver Kobi Wright, the Bohud Racing team is welcoming back their main driver and inaugural NAPA Speedway in the City winner Michael Stewart to the driver's seat of the NS # 14 Losi / Illawarra Truck Repairs & Spares supported Triple X car.

This season's NAPA Speedway in the City event will be fought out for the 410 Sprintcars over two nights on the Thursday and Friday night of November 26 and 27 for the NAPA Sprintcar Invitational.

The Bohud Racing team have started their 2026-27 season campaign in promising fashion, and they have their sights on another NAPA Sprintcar Invitational victory.

"Our team is looking forward to getting back to Adelaide for the NAPA Invitational and being a part of this awesome event," commented Bohud Racing team owner Scott Jones.

"It was disappointing for Michael to miss out on competing in last season's event and our fill-in driver Kobi really got moving towards the end after stepping into the car for just that event, so with Michael back onboard this season we are aiming to be right back up there contending for the top spot on the podium."

In other Bohud Racing team news, sadly, this Saturday night's $10,000 to win event at Nowra Speedway has been cancelled. With this long weekend now off, the team will turn their focus to preparing for the Western Sydney Speedway season opener on October 10.

The Bohud Racing team is sadden to learn of the recent passing of Bruce 'Gonzo' Agate.

Gonzo was a supporter of the Bohud Racing team through his business Gonzos Racing Pipes.

There is no doubt that Gonzo made a profound impact on the motorsport world through his passion for producing high performance racing pipes.

RIP, Gonzo. You will be missed by everyone who knew you.
