Here’s a sequence of events from the Weekend.
1. Missed the first half of the seminar being sick and barely eating for 2 days. Rocked up to day 2 to learn and didn’t bring lifting gear because I still felt s**t.
2. Huge FOMO thought it would be stupid to not at least practice some light deadlifts… equalled 260kg PB
3. discussing whether to do 275kg or 272kg (600 pound deadlift) the speed of 260, my mentor, a crowd, 100% knew it was there
4. 272kg sheeeesh PB +12kg
5. Walking up to attempt 280kg I honestly thought, this is absolutely going up, confidence of elite coaches around me, I was no going to drop it
6. Told Liv last night this is probably Top 3 moments for me 😂300kg in my sights by the end of the year
7. Sometimes it doesn’t make sense to do it, just start and if it’s there - send it.
