Congratulations to McKeons Target Squad Member & Wests Illawarra Aquatic Swim Club representative, KALEB NICHOLLS S14 (13years) on his performances that have earned him selection into the 2026/27 NSW Para Futures Squad.

Swimming NSW 2026-2027 State Squads -
The mission of Swimming NSW for our Performance Pathway is to create sustained excellence through a robust program that supports NSW coaches and athletes. The SNSW State Squads provide comprehensive support to athletes at different stages of their swimming careers. Each squad aims to enhance the skills of athletes and to provide readiness through personal growth to excel in swimming at higher elite levels of competition.

NSW PARA FUTURES SQUAD -
This squad has been formed to provide a performance environment that develops the experience, skills, and techniques required to perform when it matters. The squad will consist of up to thirty (30) athletes -male and female aged between 12 & 21 years at the time of the selection event. Athletes are selected on their performances in NSW State and Australian National Championship selection events.

Congratulations to McKeons Target Squad Member & Wests Illawarra Aquatic Swim Club representative, LONDON CAMPBELL (14years) on her well-deserved selection into the 2026/27 NSW Sharks Squad as a result of her performances at NSW State and National Championships.

NSW SHARKS SQUAD -
This squad has been formed with the inclusion of athletes in preparation for Brisbane 2032, to provide targeted training and education opportunities for the delivery of long-term athlete development. It will consist of up to 40 male and 40 female athletes, 13-16 years of age, who have performed in Olympic events and have posted times under the set qualification standard.

Our amazing Monday & Wednesday afternoon Towradgi team!
Last week, our afternoon teaching team jumped in the water to practise some of the key skills we regularly teach in lessons.

Hands-on practice is such an important part of being a great swim teacher. By physically practising these skills themselves, our teachers can build confidence, refine technique, and provide the best possible guidance to our swimmers.
