A very well-deserved grading for our boy 👏🏽

TJ has been with us since the very first month of Oni back in 2021.

Since then, he’s stepped into the cage and the ring, competed in tournaments, and consistently shown up for both himself and the team. Whether it’s chasing his own growth or supporting others through theirs, TJ is always in it.

Even with FIFO work, he’s in the gym every chance he gets when he’s home - no excuses.

We want to address an incident that occurred at the gym on Friday evening, 10th April.

An altercation took place involving a coach and a member outside of scheduled class time. This behaviour is completely unacceptable and does not reflect the values of our gym or our community.

The individual responsible is no longer affiliated with our gym, effective immediately.

We are taking this matter very seriously and are fully supporting those affected. The incident has been reported to police and is being handled appropriately.

The safety and wellbeing of our members will always be our top priority. We remain committed to maintaining a respectful, safe, and supportive environment for everyone who walks through our doors.

If anyone has concerns or requires support, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly.

You’re not supposed to “win” against your teammates in training.

You’re supposed to feel a little lost.
You’re supposed to forget things.
You’re supposed to get it wrong.

That’s not failure - that’s learning.

And you’re not in this alone.

Every single person you see on these mats started exactly where you are right now.
Confused, unsure, and figuring it out as they go.

Ask questions.
Take your time.
Learn from the mistakes.
Enjoy the journey.

This community is here to help you grow - every step of the way.

So take the pressure off.

All 3 fighters made weight and are prepared for tomorrow.
The hard work is done.
Kohan, Dom and Aaron have put everything into their camps.

Tomorrow they’ll be stepping into the cage on .
