🏁 Full flight in the 2Seven4 garage as we prepare for Round #3 with North Queensland Mower Racing Club Inc on Saturday 20th June at the Charters Towers track! 🏁

🔧 NQ333 - Xerb4n We've replaced the front steering arm bolt and finally got the wheels back on... which helps when you're trying to race! 🤣
The legend at RollOut Customs has sourced a new gear ratio for us — the same ratio used by American racing mowers and Mowster Bros Wogboy. Xerb4n should be moving with a whole new attitude now! 💨

🏍️ NQ274 - We've replaced the brake line with a hose from a Harley-Davidson Softail 😮. That's got to be worth at least another 10 horsepower purely because it has a Harley part on it!

When we went to replace the brake pads, we discovered they're the exact same pads used on a Suzuki Hayabusa. From lawn mower to superbike technology in one afternoon 🤣

🕷️ NQ934 - Black Widow We had the crew at The Tinker Shed work their magic on some carburettor issues. A small tweak later and Black Widow was tearing down the street so hard the neighbours came outside to watch the show! 🤣

To finish things off, we protected the powder-coated rear guard from CS Powdercoating with PPF to help prevent scratches and keep it looking mint all season long.

The countdown is on. The tools are slowly being put away, the race fuel is getting closer to being poured, and we're looking forward to hitting the track on the 20th.

Race #2 North Queensland Mower Racing Club Inc complete ✅️ wow what a day!

NQ274 - now racing A Grade, and damn what a load of fun. Racing Dan and Dave from Mowster Bros and Dan on big red. We got a few 2nds, and also gave Wogboy a challenge! At the end of day we came away with our consistent 3rd place overall 🏁

NQ934 - started 3 races in D Grade however the new updated carby wasnt playing the game. As soon as it was put under pressure/strain the mower would stall. Will either play with the jets, or get a new stock carby again.

NQ333 - Xerb4n drove the wheels off it again in D Grade 🤣 race 4 the chain came off, by yhe time dad got back to the pits she'd fixed it all by herself and ready to go again. Race 5 the bolt holding the steering arm on snapped and left the wheel dangling. Finishing the day in 2nd overall.

Massive shout out to RollOut Customs for getting 2nd place overall in B Grade on Optimus.

Only a 3 week turn around for race #3. We have some work ahead of us.

Quick lunch time update for race #2 North Queensland Mower Racing Club Inc

NQ274 is running A Grade! 4 mowers, David and Dan from Mowster Bros and Dan on big red. So far we have a 3rd, and two 2nd.

NQ934 running D Grade, hasn't finished a race, made it to the start line but dies under power. Out of action for rest of the day.

NQ333 running D Grade. Getting fast as the day goes on.

The mowers are packed, fuel jerries fuel and at the ready. Tomorrow morning we make our way to race #2 with North Queensland Mower Racing Club Inc at Charters Towers track.

Racing starts at 9.

Were also representing some WA mowers on the back of the trailer, lets go Lynchys Racing Team and Aussie Boys Racing 🏁

When we returned from the All Australian Mower Racing Titles we tore the engine apart and found the reason for the smoke trails. We sent the barel to Serco Pty Ltd in Brisbane to get honed oversize, and a Wossner forged piston to suit.

Evan from The Tinker Shed came down and we assembled the motor, and im feeling alot more confident this time as we put it all together.

Tomorrow we'll get a new spark plug, and fit the exhaust, connect fuel lines and battery and she'll be ready for Race #2 with North Queensland Mower Racing Club Inc on Saturday.

North Queensland Mower Racing Club Inc, along with RollOut Customs, Ragnar Racing, Mowster Bros and All Australian #1 Junior and E Grade mower are setup on display at the BBQ Battle at Bartlett Park Kelso.
