Big weekend in Mackay and District Kart Club with plenty of Pace!

The team came away with a heap of podiums, fastest laps and of course always big gains all round!

Thanks to all the teams and families for the support and couldnt be possible without our coaching crew for the weekend of Luke Jones and Luke Flynn with Liana Lennox running the Race Van and being a Co driver!

We’re getting organised early over the next few weeks, as there’s a fair bit happening for TKC.

Coming up we have:

Townsville Club Champs — Saturday 19th September
Whitsundays State Cup — 25th–27th September
NSW State Titles, Sydney — 2nd–4th October

If you know you’ll need tyres, chains, sprockets, consumables or any specific parts, please get in touch early rather than leaving it until race week.

It just gives us the best chance to make sure everything is in stock, packed and ready to go before things get busy.

Australian Kart Championship Round 4 at Pucka qualy and some heat racing completed!

Heavy fog, battling the rain, win and all the weather Victoria can throw at us!

Positive few days, though more work to be done tomorrow for Finals Day! Great work by Chevy Thomson, Jax Fuller, Harper May and Luke Downes

Another cracking weekend for the team down at IPSWICH KART CLUB for the Ipswich Race of Champions, in preparation for AKC next week in Seymour VIC!

All the boys did a great job with all finishing in the top 10 and Chevy Thomson coming away with a podium in 3rd just missing out on 2nd by 6 thousandths of a second!

Next season, the championship grows to 7 rounds, with the best 6 rounds counting towards the final standings — giving every driver one drop round across the season.

In 2026, it was 5 from 6.
In 2027, it becomes 6 from 7.

More racing. More opportunities. More pressure. And even less room for mistakes.

Over the weekend TKC took on two Countries with Brian Flynn and Luke Jones doing a stellar job in Mackay and District Kart Club At the Sugar City Titles!

There were some super quick times, new PBs for many, fastest laps, race wins and so much improvement!

We are off to Whitsunday Moto Sports Club - Karting this weekend for the State Cup Shakedown!
