It’s time for one last showdown to close out the season!

At 7PM this Friday, it’s Adrian Leijer’s Coaches XI taking on Brett King’s Presidents XI — and we’re expecting a few surprises along the way. 👀

Come down and show some support and love for the people who give so much to our club — our coaches, members, Division 2 ladies players and a few special surprise cameos!

⚽️💙🩷 PATHWAY RESULTS | WHAT A WEEKEND 🩷💙⚽️
What a weekend for our CPL Girls program. 💙🩷

Saturday saw the girls travel to Broadford and Mitchell Rangers FC for the rearranged Murray Utd fixtures, with the weather once again threatening to get in the way.
After weeks of work behind the scenes to make these games happen, we weren't letting the weather rain on our parade! 💪

A huge thank you to Mitchell Rangers FC for stepping up and helping us get the fixtures played, and to everyone at SCFC who put in the work to make it happen.

Then it was straight back on the road Sunday, with all three teams travelling to Mill Park FC.
What followed was a challenging and extremely hostile atmosphere, but our girls responded in the best possible way — with character, composure and football. All three teams came away with commanding victories and all nine points. 🔥

Days like this make you incredibly proud of the culture we've built at SCFC — great players, great coaches and great parents who stick together and represent the club the right way.

💙💛 JBAP | FINAL ROUND
Our inaugural Metro season also came to an end, with sickness and unavailability impacting the U14 and U15 fixtures. The U13s and U16s stepped up to finish the season strongly, showing the fight and spirit that has been a feature of the program all year.

It’s been a challenging first season, but we’ve laid some strong foundations. Now it’s time to get to work on next season and keep building the pathway.

A massive thank you to all our players, coaches, parents and volunteers for an incredible season.

Our Senior Women secured the Minor Premiership with their final league game against Deakin Ducks FC, capping off an outstanding regular season.

A fantastic achievement from the players, coaches and everyone behind the scenes who have helped make it such a successful campaign. 👏

Micka’s 400th game

⚽️💙💛 400 GAMES | MICHAEL POCKLINGTON 💛💙⚽️

This weekend, we celebrate one of the biggest milestones in Surf Coast FC history as Michael “Micka” Pocklington takes to the field for his 400th appearance for the club.

And 400 games doesn’t quite tell the full story.

Since joining Surf Coast FC in 2005, Micka has given more than two decades to the club he loves — playing, coaching, leading and simply being part of the fabric of SCFC.
With 400 appearances, 52 goals and several seasons as captain, Micka holds the record for the most games played for Surf Coast FC in the club’s history — by a long way.

His commitment has been extraordinary. There was even a season where Micka regularly played three games in a single weekend. And when a broken ankle ruled him out for the entire 2017 season, it still couldn’t keep him away from the club.

Because Micka’s contribution has always extended well beyond the pitch.
He has coached our Senior Women, Sunday Men, Junior Girls and MiniRoos, served on the Committee, and was deservedly recognised as a Life Member in 2022.

The Pocklington family’s contribution to the club is also forever part of SCFC, with one of our grandstands proudly carrying the Pocklington name.

21 years. 400 games. 52 goals. Life Member. Club record holder.
But more than the numbers, it represents loyalty, leadership, passion and service to Surf Coast FC.

💙💛 Congratulations, Micka.

400 games is an extraordinary achievement — and your contribution to this club is even greater.
Here’s to celebrating a true Coaster legend this weekend! 👏

⚽️💙🩷 PATHWAY FOOTBALL | MASSIVE WEEKEND AHEAD 🩷💙⚽️

It’s a massive weekend for our CPL Girls, with a rearranged fixture against Murray Utd on Saturday followed by a trip to Mill Park FC on Sunday. 💪🔥

With plenty still to play for across all three teams, the weekend could be a defining one for our girls. Our U13s head into the weekend with their campaign firmly in their own hands, knowing six points could potentially secure them the league. The U15s are currently sitting in 2nd spot and will be looking to keep the pressure on at the top, while our U17s continue to fight it out for a top-three finish.

💙💛 JBAP FINAL ROUND
Our JBAP teams also play their final games of the season this Sunday, bringing their inaugural Metro campaign to a close. The boys have shown plenty of fight, spirit and determination throughout their first season, and they’ll be looking to finish on a high and give everyone involved a final performance to be proud of.

It’s a huge weekend for our pathway teams, so get out and show your support for the players, coaches and everyone who has helped make these programs what they are. 👏

⚽️💙💛 COMMUNITY TEAMS | FINAL ROUND 💛💙⚽️

It’s the final round of the regular season, and there is still plenty to play for across our Community teams!

🩷 WOMEN'S TEAMS
Our Senior Women have already secured top spot and their place in the finals — now they’ll be looking to build momentum heading into the finals campaign.
The Golds are also safely through to finals, while the Navy team still has a chance to make it. They have a big game at home and will be hoping for a strong result and a few results elsewhere to go their way.

💙 MEN'S TEAMS
Our Senior Men are guaranteed finals and still have a chance to win the league heading into the final round.
The Division 2 boys also remain in the finals hunt, but need a result and some help from other games.
For Division 3, it’s simple — a good result on Sunday will secure their place in the finals.

🔥 There is still so much to play for!
It’s shaping up to be a massive weekend for the club, so get out, support our players and help get as many of our teams over the line and into finals as possible.

⚽️💙💛 STATE MEN | FINAL GAME 💛💙⚽️

One last time for 2026.

Our Senior Men head to Williamstown SC this weekend for the final game of the season, with our place in State League 2 secured for next year.

With the pressure of the season behind them, it’s a chance for both teams to finish the year on a high and put in a strong final team performance. 💪

It’s also a great opportunity to acknowledge the commitment of everyone involved throughout the season. It hasn’t always been easy, with plenty of challenges to overcome, but the boys have dug deep, stuck together and finished the season strongly.

A huge thank you to all our players, coaches and support staff for their commitment, effort and belief throughout the year. 💙💛

As our Advanced Pathway continues to grow, Surf Coast FC is seeking Expressions of Interest from passionate and committed coaches who want to be part of our 2027 programs.

With our Junior Girls Advanced Program entering the new GVPL2 competition and our Junior Boys Advanced Pathway continuing to provide opportunities for ambitious young players, 2027 is set to be an exciting season for football at SCFC.

We’re looking for coaches who can help create an environment where players are challenged, supported and developed both on and off the pitch.
