Cut cat racing's Stephen Rumble held onto the Kavanagh Auto Parts 6-litre National Drivers Championship points lead heading into Windsor's season final, but another epic run by Lock N Load Racing's Ryan McIntosh on a dropped round system, put the title out of question, a late charge by Mark Ebenreuter elevating the South Australian to equal points with Rumble, but third on adjusted podium order; a stellar return to form for one of the most loved categories in the country, 13 boats competing in the Series with quite a few more expected to add their names to the entry list in 2027 👊🏆

DOMINANT.. it's about the only way you could describe Ryan McIntosh and the Lock N Load Racing 6-litre team after their setbacks at home in Taree. They quickly recovered though, falling just two points shy of a perfect round record at both Dargle and Windsor last weekend to put the 2026 Kavanagh Auto Parts 6-litre National Drivers Championship title well out of question 👊🏆

TAPBC member Ryan McIntosh in Lock N Load Racing fastest in the 6litre hot laps today at Upper Hawkesbury Power Boat Club

Here's how the Kavanagh Auto Parts 6-litre National Drivers Championship played out at Windsor today, another stunning performance from Ryan McIntosh in the Lock N Load Racing machine, but how about the effort of points leader Steve Rumble in Cut cat racing, he's not going to give up that points lead without a fight. Sadly we lost Brendon Mason with an engine issue at the end of the Hot Laps run, he'll be on the trailer assisting his rivals tomorrow as they lock away final points in the 2026 Series, whilst Mark Ebenreuter has been given dispensation to complete his Hot Lap on Saturday morning ⏱️🏁
