We race
every Wednesday night, in the school term (weather permitting). Sign-on is from 5:00pm - 5:45pm. Cost is $7 per licensed rider. There are a number of other things we can help you out with at the track including making sure your bike is ready to race and that it has the correct race plate. Our club racing year is divided into 2 series however, riders are welcome to come and race as often or as infrequent as their time permits. There is no minimum requirement to race at our club however, to qualify for end of series awards a rider must compete in a minimum of 50% of series races. There are two levels of BMX racing, the first being ‘Club’ racing and the second, ‘Open’ racing. Many riders are more than content riding at a club level and competing against riders of similar ability. Open racing consists of a higher level of competitive racing, in age groups, across different tracks throughout NSW and Australia. There are State Series events, State Titles, National Series events and National Titles which are for all open membership riders. BMX is a sport where there is a level of competition for every level of ability. At the end of the day however, it is about having fun, forming friendships and developing skills and physical fitness.
