Aussie Belles

Aussie Belles Official page of the Australian Women's Goalball Team. The name ‘Aussie Belles’ was adopted by the members of the Australian Squad in 2012.

The idea for the name came from former team member, Jodi Wills-Roberts. The name plays on the double meaning of “belles” referring to the phrase “belle of the ball” and to the unique nature of Goalball in which the ball has bells in it to help players hear it coming.
