Forte Training Club

Forte Training Club The new No.1 Functional Strength & Conditioning Gym in Sydney's Inner West!

23/09/2026

If you’ve tried group training before and quietly stopped showing up, you’re not alone and it probably wasn’t your fault.

Most group classes give everyone the same weights, the same movements and the same pace regardless of where they’re actually at. If you were coming back after time off, carrying an old injury or just not as fit as the person next to you, the format was never going to work for you.

At Forte everything scales to where you are right now. Not where you think you should be, not where you were ten years ago. Your coaches watch, adjust and make sure you’re being pushed at the right level every single session.

If group training has never clicked before, this might be why.

One of the most common things we hear before someone joins Forte is the worry that they’ll hold everyone back or on the flip side, that they won’t actually be pushed enough.

Last week a 60 year old joined his third ever class and trained side by side with people who have been doing this for a decade. Same room, same energy, completely different ex*****on. Both got exactly what they needed and neither noticed the difference.

That’s not a coincidence. Every movement at Forte has a progression and a regression, every load is adjustable and your coach is watching to make sure you’re working at the right level for you today, not for the person next to you.

What’s stopped you from trying before? Drop it below, genuinely want to know 👇🏻

If you've restarted your fitness journey more than once you're not alone and you're definitely not broken.

What keeps most people stuck in that cycle isn't laziness or lack of willpower.

It's the absence of a structure that works around real life rather than against it.

When training has a time, a place, familiar faces and coaches who notice when you're not there, it stops being something you have to motivate yourself to do and starts being something you just do.

That's what our members found here. Not a perfect version of themselves. Just a system that finally stuck.

August Committed Club is a wrap and this crew did not disappoint.

Congratulations to Yuli Sandoval who takes home this month’s prize, a $100 Lululemon gift card. Very well deserved 🏆

Power sessions are as spicy as it sounds 😅

Every 3:00 x 4 sets
20s Max Row Calories, 20s Rest
20s Max Toes to Bar, 20s Rest
20s Max Power Snatches, Rest remaining time

Sessions like this one are a staple in every Forte training block and they exist for a specific reason. The ability to produce force quickly is one of the most important qualities we train for. It’s what makes you explosive off the ground, fast under a barbell and capable of moving well when fatigue sets in.

It also happens to be one of the most transferable things you can build in the gym. Whether that’s on a competition floor, a sports field or just life moving faster than expected.
