The 2026 SPASA Awards of Excellence are almost here and we’re proud to have 4 Aquify Pool projects nominated this year! 

The Cherrybrook Lady Blue Pool & Spa, the Curl Curl Poolhouse Luxury Project, the Freshwater Round Infinity Pool and our Newport Resort Living Project.  

Each pool had different budgets, site challenges and client visions and they’ve come up looking mighty fine (even if we do say so ourselves!!)

Known for his signature fist pumps, endless positivity, questionable dance floor endurance and fierce ping pong competitiveness, Matt brings great energy to everything he does. He’s the driving force behind our office recycling program, keeps the team smiling, and somehow makes even the busiest days feel a little easier.

Behind the good vibes is someone who genuinely cares about our clients, our team, and our community, giving his all both at Aquify and through his involvement with Manly Surf Club.

With the 2026 SPASA Awards just around the corner, we’re celebrating our own Marcelo, nominated for the Construction Tradesperson Award.

Over 9 years with Aquify, Marcelo has progressed from General Labourer to Site Manager. With a Mechanical Engineering background and experience across more than 1,500 pool builds, he’s become a trusted leader and a familiar face on countless projects.

If you’ve built a pool with Aquify, there’s a good chance you’ve met Marcelo.

Every great transformation starts with a challenge.

A sloping site, tight access, stormwater works, crane lift, weather delays… it had a bit of everything. With careful planning, the right equipment and a team that knew how to make it happen, the result was a pool area built for family time, entertaining and everyday living.

And the best part? This project was named a finalist in the SPASA Awards 2025.
