Saturday 7th November we are proposing to run a Test and Tell Dressage day. A 20 min spot to do your test and have feedback from Uta. What a great opportunity to get insights into what the judges are looking for and work on areas to improve! Prep and Prelim tests including eventing tests. More details to follow if enough interest is shown! $30 members $40 non-members.

Saturday 29th August! Starting at 10am (9.30am gear check) our Play Date is a great opportunity for you and your equine friend to come along and play at the grounds - No instructor, no stress......just play! This August we will have some new obstacles out for you to 'play' with - including the water trough!! smiley There will be club members/committee there to assist on the day. Members cost $15.00 per horse and rider/handler

Non-Members $25.00 per horse and rider/handler

Please note that non-members attending are welcome to attend a few times before being requested to take up membership 😀

❓Did you know that in 2027, DFHRC will celebrate its 40th anniversary? AND we will be kicking off the year with our popular Annual All Breeds and Hacking Show on Sunday 10th January. Don't forget to mention our club when you purchase goods at Rural Solutions, Sorell. This great company will donate 4% of your purchase to the club. This helps us greatly to purchase items for the grounds and prizes for shows! Thanks Brent and team, we REALLY appreciate it 😀

Hi everyone. We have changed the date for the next working bee. We now require assistance from our members on Sunday 27th Sept from 10am. We will need help with the following; back door replacement, creating a step at the back door (do you have sleepers you can donate?), filling in the rabbit holes throughout the grounds, bracing on the show jump pole holder and general tidy up. All this will ensure the grounds are ready to go for the October Show! Please call Guy on 0475 431 222 to register how you can help. If you cannot make it on this date, we may be able to accommodate you at another time. 😀
