Another pleasant Sunday arvo had by all at the hall on the weekend with 30 players competing in 3 divisions.
In Division One 14 players, in 2 pools of 7, played 6 matches each, best of three, double in double out, with the top four in each group progressing to quarterfinals where Seth Jannenga defeated Tyler Stevens 3-2, Clint Rowan had a 3-1 victory over Rob Marshall, James Swan also won 3-1 against Bruce Steen and Aaron Simpson had a 3-0 win over Jodie Oakley.
In the semifinals Clint Rowan defeated Seth Jannenga 4-2 and James Swan won 4-3 against Aaron Simpson in a great match. In the final the match was close throughout and at 3 games each it was Clint who forged ahead by winning the next 2 legs to win the match 5-3.

The best in on the day was 130 to Aaron Simpson ahead of Seth Jannenga with a 122, James Swan with 120-109-103, Jodie Oakley with 118, Aaron again with 114 and Eddie Burr with 106 while the best leg was a 17 darter to Tyler Stevens. Aaron Simpson had the best average with 23.86 in one match with the highest peg going to Greg Holt with a great finish of 130 ahead of Tyler Stevens with a peg of 102. Bruce Steen threw three 180’s and Tyler Stevens one.
In Division Two 10 players in 2 pools of 5 played 4 matches each, best of five, with the top 2 from each group progressing to semi finals where Glennis Beddow defeated John Paterson 3-0 and Raewyn Marshall won 3-2 in a close match with Lucy Garton. The final saw Glennis take the early lead before winning 3-1 over Raewyn.

The best average in division two was 20.88 by Glennis Beddow in her semi final while Raewyn Marshall threw the best leg with a 17 darter. The high peg was 84 by Glennis Beddow ahead of Lucy Garton with 82. Glennis also threw two 171’s and Raewyn threw one.
In Division Three 6 players played 5 matches each, best of three, before semifinals were played which saw David Savige defeat Ziva Lowden 2-0 and Colleen Holley, also with a 2-0 victory against Mellissa Lowden. In the final Colleen produced the better darts and pegged when it counted to come away with a 3-0 victory over David.

Colleen also had the best average with 14.11 in one match while Ziva Lowden landed the best leg with 28 darts. The highest peg was 40 which was hit by Colleen Holley twice and once each by Renee Barnett and Ziva Lowden.
Next months Singles Tournament will be held on Sunday the 5th of July
