We talk about "engaging your core" in our reformer classes, but do you know what your core actually is?
Your core is more than just your abs.
It's your deep stabilizers: transverse abdominals, multifidus (deep muscles running along the length of the spine), pelvic floor and diaphragm, all working as a team to support every movement you make on and off the reformer.
When your foundation (core) is strong everything else follows.
Better posture, more controlled movements and less back pain to name a few...
