The AFL are running a “ALL GIRLS” 6 hour ($20) school holiday program at Oak Flats Public School on Wednesday 15th July

🔴⚪ President’s Volunteer of the Week 🔴⚪

This week we recognise one of the true quiet achievers of our club – Adam Halliwell.

Adam is a driving force behind the scenes, taking care of so many of the jobs that keep our game day running smoothly. From setting up the ground, acting as Ground Manager, liaising with council, to lining and marking the field – just to name a few – Adam is always there getting it done.

What makes Adam stand out even more is how he does it… no fuss, no fanfare, just rolls up his sleeves and gets on with the job. The kind of volunteer every club relies on, but not everyone sees.

Adam, your commitment and reliability don’t go unnoticed. The Swans community is better because of people like you.

Massive day today at Myimbarr!

From a 6:30am start to switching the lights off at 5:30pm, it was a huge effort and one we can all be proud of.

A massive thank you to our volunteers who gave up their time across the day – the club simply doesn’t run without you.

What stood out just as much was what happened on the field. I couldn’t be prouder of our players, coaches and managers. The way our teams competed, supported each other and represented the Swans was outstanding.

Across every game we saw great effort, respect for opponents and umpires, and genuine sportsmanship – exactly what our club stands for.

Win, lose or draw, that’s the standard we want to see.

Thanks to Bomaderry Tigers AFL, Figtree Australian Football Club for visiting, we hope you had a great day!

With Women’s Round coming up next week, it’s a perfect time to recognise how much we value and appreciate all the incredible women in our club – players, coaches, volunteers, mums and supporters. You play a huge role in making our club what it is, and we thank you for everything you do.
