To our beloved Impact Family,

It is with heavy hearts that we share some difficult news regarding the future of Impact Self Defence. After much reflection, we have made the decision to close our karate school effective immediately, we will not be returning for Term 2 2026.

After many incredible years of training, growth, and shared experiences. This decision has not come easily, and it carries a great deal of emotion for us. From the very beginning, this dojo has been more than just a place to train—it has been a family. Watching each of you grow in confidence, discipline, and strength has been one of our greatest privileges.

We are deeply grateful for your unwavering support, commitment, and the spirit you’ve brought into the dojo every single day. The memories we’ve created together will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you for being part of our journey and for making Impact what it is. We'll miss you all and wish you all the best in your life's journey.

Held our last Gradings for 2024 this weekend. It’s been such a fantastic year with everyone achieving their new belts. Yesterday was a massive achievement for Aidan Nolan and Tyler Cable obtaining their Provisional Black Belts & Callum Cable getting his Black Belt. These boys worked their butts off to get where they are today. CONGRATULATIONS! You’ve all earned your belts.

And a massive CONGRATULATIONS to our juniors who gained their new belts. You all did an amazingly great and you all also earned these new belt.

Whoops, we've done it again! Paul Wingate and I are delighted to share that Charlotte and Jackson are bracing themselves for their miniature mischief-maker baby brother in February 2025.

This is our last week before we all head into the school holidays. Thursday the 11th April is our last day and we’ll return on Monday the 29th April. Hope everyone has a happy and safe holiday.

Oh boy, how these Black Stripes blew the place down today. They knew what was expected of their rank and they smashed it. A BIG shoutout to Charlotte, this was her very last Junior Eagles Black Stripe grading. Charlotte has passed her grading to achieve her 9th Kyu Yellow Belt and is off to start her journey within the youth class.
